Covers that fit a 2" hole work just fine

These are reasonable for the price. 50mm is approximately 1 7/8 inch. They work great on horizontal surfaces, and I drilled a 2 inch hole for them. However, there was too much wiggle room on the verticals, so I had to add some foam adhesive tape to make up the 1/8" gap and get a tight fit. br>If you have a hole saw or drill bit that is 50mm in diameter - A snug fit will make you happy. In short, it's a good solution for a 2" hole, but it's not perfect. 5 stars.

Bye-bye, tangled power cables

Two were mounted on the underside of my built-in desk and were powered by two power strips. There are no longer any power strips, transformers, or other clutter on my desk; everything is now hidden. br>br>The holes I bored with the suggested dimensions were slightly too large, but I used adhesive on the underside of the Grommet to secure it in place. It was an excellent solution. br>br>On ease of installation and accuracy, it only gets three stars. Only 3 stars for accuracy, as the holes I bored out were a hair too large and required adhesive, and the ridges on the underside of the grommet could not "catch" firmly. br>br>If you don't have a drill and hole borer, it will cost you $$ to buy those to make the holes. br>br>only 3 stars for accuracy, as mentioned, the holes I bored out were a hair too large and required adhesive, and the ridge.

I used a 2" hole saw to cut these out of the hole, and they fit perfectly. They can be popped out at any time if the cable moves. The ones I mounted horizontally work okay because gravity holds them in place, but the ones I mounted vertically keep falling out.

They aren't big enough

My desk has a hole in the back, and these are very small, so it easily falls out of the hole. I taped it up and it's still there, but it looks a little shabby. Not a fan.

2 Inches is a bit of a stretch

Grommets may fit snugly in a hole measuring 50mm in diameter, but not in a hole measuring 2 inches in diameter. It was necessary for me to use glue to secure it. Aside from that, they're fantastic value for money.
