These rubber grommets do a good job. I gave it four stars because it was manufactured in China rather than the United States of America. I've only used one one so far. Despite being a one-inch grommet, it does a good job of protecting wires. To pass two 4 AWG wires and a few smaller 14 AWG wires through the firewall of my Jeep, I needed a grommet. They all fit perfectly and are now free of metal rubbing. I like that you have to cut your own slit rather than buying one with a hole already punched in it. It keeps your wires nice and tight through the grommet rather than leaving an open space that could let water or mud in through the firewall, which is a problem because Jeeps get dirty, as we all know. Because the plastic case isn't of the highest quality, expect to tape it shut or have a slew of rubber grommets strewn about.

The rubber seems to be of good quality. These were used to replace the foam style grommets on a 1973 Triumph Spitfire. The best way to go is to use a gasket hole punch set with the appropriate inside diameter. I used a 1/4 punch to stretch the rubber over the 11/16 diameter tachometer cable end fittings while keeping it within a millimeter or two of its original size.

These gromets are attractive and well-made, as well as being well-packaged. I was concerned that they would arrive in a box that would easily disintegrate or fail to close. However, because this box closes tightly and feels sturdy, I won't have to worry about these items strewn about my store by accident. They've also been sprayed with a thin layer of oil to keep them from sticking together during shipping or storage in hot conditions. Overall, I am pleased with this product and its packaging, which has proven to be extremely useful for a variety of projects.

There's nothing special about this grommet kit, but it appears to be of good quality and it works well to plug various holes. It's convenient to have such a large selection of sizes.

I used these to run wires in my jeep in a few different places. Keeps the wires from rubbing together when passing through firewalls and other holes I had to make during the modification process.

On my car with the oem spoiler, I used these in six holes in the trunk. They are functional for the time being until I fill them. They should now be able to keep bugs and water out of my car.
