It's a fake China 2" that's actually 50mm in diameter.
It'll fit in the hole, but it won't be snug. The insert is 2 inches in diameter on the outside. The cover plate and the top ring (flange) both have a 2. It has a 5 inch diameter and will not fall through a 2 inch hole. 3 holes, but it will most likely move unless wedged or glued in place.
Spray paint appears to be a viable option. However, it would be more cost effective to simply purchase a similar color and spray it. That way, even if it chips a little, it won't be as noticeable!
Because it's plastic, it's likely to crack; however, they're not too expensive, so you should pick one up and see if you can cut it.

As neatly as possible, run an ethernet cable through a home's wall. I used a Milwaukee Hole Dozer to drill a 2" (51mm) hole, and the grommet fit perfectly. The inner piece made firm contact with the sheet rock, and there was a satisfying snap. It was then just a matter of pulling the cable through and snapping the outer cover onto its mate - it was that easy. another snap that is satisfying. The color of the grommets is incorrect. It's white and would look great against any beige or almond-colored interior wall paint. It's also quite durable. I'm very happy with this purchase, and I'm glad I have extra grommets on hand in case I need them for future projects.
It was simple to put together and it worked out perfectly. It accomplishes its goal admirably. It's a lovely white color that isn't yellow in the least. We used it on an ikea linnmon table top and it looked great!.
Drill bits aren't lying; plastic grommets made in China are.
I BELIEVE THIS WAS MADE IN CHINA AND MEASURES FROM MM TO INCHES. I MEASURED IT WITH A HILE SAW AND A GROMMET WHEN I RECEIVED IT, AND THEY WERE OFF. I DID NOT HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICE BUT TO USE THE 2" HOLE SAW DUE TO THE FACT THAT I COULD NOT FIND A 17/8 HOLE SAW! br>THICK DOBLU TAPE N FIT WAS REQUIRED. I USED Nano Tape Double Sided Tape Adhesive N AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY, BUT I DON'T NEED TO!.
Take your glue gun out of the cabinet. The pieces are fine; however, when I use a hole saw to cut the hole to the exact diameter, the saw wobbles enough that the hole ends up a smidge wider than it should be. I used a hot glue gun to fix this, first applying glue to the piece's surface, then inserting it into the drilled hole. The extra gap was filled by the glue, which ensured that the hit stayed in place.
This is fantastic. I had to run the wires down through the wall to hide the wires when I mounted the large TVs on the wall. I did, however, have a 2 1/2" hole in the wall after that. I bought these and painted them to match the color of the wall, and they work and look fantastic!.
The listing specifies that these wire grommets fit snugly in a 2" hole. In fact, once you've drilled a 2" hole and inserted the grommet, it slides right out. To increase the circumference of the grommet beneath the edge, I had to use painters tape and duct tape in combination. It should fit snugly in the 2" hole after this. It does look good, as you can see in my picture. Just be aware that you might find yourself in the same situation.
These grommets do exactly what you need them to do: they fit into a 2" drilled hole, conceal wires and cables, and blend in with white furniture.
