Polymer is a tough, durable material. It's the perfect size for a 1. The hole is 5 inches in diameter. The cap can be temporarily removed to allow cables with larger plugs to pass through; the only drawback is the relatively high price.

It was very easy to break. The piece broke easily during installation and did not last very long. br>The plastic is brittle and difficult to work with. br>This isn't something you should do.

A 5" hole has been drilled. Some reviewers said it was too small for a 1, so I was hesitant to order it. 5" hole. However, it ended up fitting perfectly and performing admirably; it also looks good and effectively conceals the drilled hole.
