I bought these to go with an existing gate that I already had. I needed factory replacements to match my existing hardware. I found the exact match for the gate hardware on Amazon for a great price, and they were simple to install and very sturdy. I wholeheartedly endorse these products!.
It's made of plastic, but it's incredibly strong. I like how the handle is large enough for me to wrap my fist around it, as opposed to some of the smaller handles that make it difficult to get a good grip.
I ordered seven of them for my gates and am extremely pleased with them.
The quality and comfort of the grip on the handle are excellent. Two (one for each side of our gate) were purchased. I had to modify one handle due to the style of our gate by trimming the side legs and drilling a new screw hole. It was very simple to make changes.
On my vinyl fence, they look solid and sturdy. I predrilled the holes and installed one on each side of each of my gates. I'm surprised my fence installers didn't include these as a standard feature; it's a simple upgrade that pays off.
The gate handles were a breeze to align, and the self-tapping screws performed admirably. I moved the handle around before installing it to make sure it was in the right place for the gate opener. They've been up for a few months now, and I've just placed an order for two more for the inside of the gates.
My vinyl door now has a great handle. I ordered two for each side of the door, and they worked perfectly.
I like the product so much that I'm going to have to order another 44. Please guide me through the process of placing that order. Every time I try, I'm told you only have a few. . . br>br>Thank you, WJS.
