Simply unscrew the lid to the gate box and press the little black reset button until a red light blinks, then press the first button on your remote continuously until it locks in (making sure the key you're programming is pointed at the rest button). Just a heads up, you may have to press the rest button a few times before it actually locks in! I also included a snapchat picture, which isn't the best, but it's better than no instructions at all.
This remote was purchased to serve as a backup to the gate opener remote. There are no instructions for programming the replacements. We aren't electronic wizards, to be sure. Now that I've received a replacement, I'm unable to program it, and returning it would be too inconvenient.
My CO- has a remote that does not work. The Z Automatic Sliding Gate Opener is a device that opens and closes sliding gates automatically. I programmed them in the same way that I programmed the factory remotes (I erased and reprogrammed them to test the remote adding instructions). It appears to be the same, but it is not. The motor is in perfect working order. br>br>Update on the Review: br>br> I received the incorrect remote, returned it, and they quickly sent me the correct one; great customer service, and the new remote works perfectly.
They did not come with any instructions. I'm at a loss as to how to duplicate them. I tried YouTube and it didn't work out for me. no luck.
These are the CO-X remote controls. A gate opener with a Z. This is the CO-OP's ONLY remote control. A gate opener with a Z. Do not be fooled into purchasing additional remote controls for the CO- A gate opener with a Z. (If anyone wants some, I have six useless remote controls that don't work with the CO- A gate opener with a Z! )br>They seem to be long-lasting. br>Programming them was as simple as pressing the ANT button on the opener's circuit board and then repeatedly pressing the button on the remote until the gate opened. br>I purchased ten units, and it took me about 15 minutes to put them together. To program them all, it took me 20 minutes.
These little guys are fantastic; they're simple to program and come with a handy clip. They work from a distance of 250 feet the more you use them.
If you have a small phillips head screwdriver (like for glasses), use it to tighten the screws from time to time. I dropped my keys last week and the controller opened, spilling all the tiny parts all over the place! My husband was perplexed until he examined his controller and noticed how loose the small screws were. This is a simple fix! We purchased a few more as a backup and to allow family and friends to use our gate as well.
Before I bought my house, it came with a sliding gate opener model PY600. I didn't have any manuals or documentation; all I had was a model number on the PCB controller board. Moreover, the remote controls had stopped working. These remotes are identical to the ones that came with it and pair with the opener flawlessly. I purchased three more, and they are all functional. This appears to be the same PCB as the SL600, which is available from several vendors, including this one (CO-SL600). Z) and Chamberlain, to name a few. I'm really looking forward to figuring out how to fix my broken remotes!.
