The long pieces fit snugly against the door. The handles don't stick out too far. You might have to leave them off if you don't have much clearance.
The description reads as follows: br>ABS construction with a Rust Iron finishRSF coating protects wrought iron.
My doors were brand new and in excellent condition. I did use some water and soap. Magnets are aesthetically pleasing and do not move.
Yes. One of my garage doors has a silver metal handle in the middle. Even after all these years, these decorative handles are still stunning. The silver handle does not appear to be strange in the least. My garage doors have changed so much. I would strongly suggest it!

As a result, putting these plastic components together is a breeze. The magnetic attachment of the pieces to your garage door is very simple. As they approach your door, the pieces almost leap onto it. On day two, however, two issues were discovered while adjusting placement. Magnets are prone to falling out. A magnet protruded from one of the two pieces that moved. Fortunately, the magnet was still attached to the garage door and could be easily reinserted into the plastic piece. The garage door has been marked with magnets. When I took one of the pieces out of the box, I noticed that the magnet had left a small gray mark on the garage door where it had been fine-tuned by sliding the piece a little. The mark was hidden by where I think I'll keep the piece, so it didn't bother me; However, if one were to move the pieces around a bit, this could be a problem. This could also be due to the fact that our garage door is older and hasn't been painted in a long time; however, I'm confident that these issues will not prevent me from using the product because all of the pieces are already in place and appear to be in good condition. If I were to buy another set, I would do the following to keep the magnets in place and prevent the garage door from being marked: Before you begin, make sure to: 1) Double-check that each piece has all of its magnets in place; A smidgeon of superglue might come in handy. 2) Cover the magnet with a small piece of clear tape. This should keep the magnet from leaving a permanent mark on the garage door. If you use thick tape, the magnet's effectiveness will be reduced. 3) Before installing the handles, double-check where you want them to go so you don't have to move them around too much on the garage door. This product has a great look to it, and I think you will as well. Best of luck with whatever decision you make.
It does exactly what you expect it to do. Simply avoid placing these too close to edges or along a seam, and they will remain in place when the door opens. If necessary, place a second magnet on the opposite side of the door to help them stick. They only have a light grip on the door, but that is sufficient.
Upgrade on the spot! I had no idea these were made of plastic because I hadn't read the description thoroughly. The magnets were powerful, and even with them in place, the door worked perfectly. I wasn't sure how the windows would look, but I think it looks great. You can't go wrong with this deal.
br>br>I bought these and added the magnetic windows (also from Amazon) to really update my house for less than $50, and they did the trick.
Magnets have a powerful attraction. For the past two weeks, I've been wearing them. They haven't moved in a long time. His product has made me very happy.
The decorative hinges have gotten a lot of positive feedback from my neighbors. We just had our house painted, and I thought the garage could use a few accessories to really make it stand out. I like that they are large magnets that can change the look in a matter of seconds. Before my husband arrived home, I put them on, and he was blown away by how nice they looked. My parents were so taken with them that they placed an order for some as well. They've met my expectations. To finish the look, I also purchased the faux windows.
I like that I didn't have to drill holes or deal with adhesives to experiment with different placements and determine what looked best. I'm docking one star because one of the five sets I bought had a faulty magnet that wasn't actually magnetic. It's an unusual situation. It's not that the "magnet" is missing; it's just that it's not magnetized. As a result, I'll need to pry it out and replace it. But, aside from that, I think they're fantastic, and the price is unbeatable!.
I've only had them on for a few minutes, but I'm liking them so far! I'm hoping they don't fade because they're made of plastic. I think I'd be fine if I had to spray a fresh coat of spray paint on them every season or so because they were so inexpensive. Putting it on is a breeze! Magnets appear to have a lot of power.
