Can you tell me where they are ?

While I am not sure what material they are made of, I can tell you that washing them makes them fall apart! Our septic tank got clogged by them!

What if I want to build a homemade sound booth and want to dampen the sound?

The fact is that blankets and towels often prove more effective than foam during decibel sound testing. I saw this bass trap on YouTube. You can find it if you search for home made bass traps on YouTube. My reasoning behind looking at these is the same as yours.

Is there a strong smell coming from these? What is the degree of odor that blankets would create if I wrapped a mattress in them?

smell anything, but I would cover a mattress in plastic to prevent furniture from getting damaged. Moving blankets are thick to prevent furniture from being damaged.

Is it okay to cover sliding glass doors for the winter with these so that the cold doesn't get in?

As far as keeping the cold out go, they would probably be fine hung up. It would be easier just to get the right doors. It will be a bit of a hassle to hang them up.

I don't think they're very useful because they're too small

It is very small and I bought 12 of them. You could just use 2 of them to wrap a nightstand if they were large enough. They should not be used if you plan on wrapping large items. It is best to get an extra large size for most furniture. I like how thick and well made they are. Nice stitching and the fact that they can be washed makes them an advantage. In other words, if you'd like to use them for a dog blanket, they should be.

I don't think it would deter me from wrapping a shelf in it if there were. There are moving blankets in there! Their protective properties allowed me to secure my rental van interior from the damage caused by my bed frame and shelf, and now they are in my basement with my ratchet straps. Their next big adventure is waiting in the wings! I'm not sure what to say because I don't know As far as their purpose is concerned, they are adequate. While I didn't feel more or less virile than I did before owning them, I saved myself from getting scuffed during my move because I was able to prevent scuffs. Well, that's good to know.

They turned out great! I'm glad I put my trust in them! I cannot say enough about how fantastic it was. I find that they have more thickness than anticipated, and unlike many other reviews, they don't smell! My furniture will be well protected during my upcoming move thanks to them. A week earlier than expected, they also arrived.

They were referred to as "half-castes" by the mover's It is sized to fit all pad sizes

Some furniture that was being moved into storage needed to be covered with these pads. The padded moving blankets I had were too small to cover more than a few pieces of furniture, so they covered less than 1% of the furniture. There were a few things I hoped they would do more of. It is likely that I would seek out larger pads if I had a similar need in the future.

Moving blankets such as these are NOT standard large movers' The friction burns caused by these fabrics are not as severe as the ones caused by wool or denim. However, I did not need large blankets, nor did I care if they got ripped up over time since I was just moving around household items or placing them in my truck, and I wanted the added protection they provided. My favorite feature of these blankets is the price yes, they are a compromise compared to moving blankets made by professional movers. My needs are met by these devices, and I find them to be fairly durable for basic tasks.

They are not big enough to wrap a person who weighs about 140lbs around, just for reference, I sewed three together and then another three together so I have two large blankets that can cover the entire sectional couch. I can wrap it around the couch and not see the sofa. Sew them together a bit and I promise these blankets will outperform every other blanket in the market.

It's a holr and it's dirty as dirt! The thickness is thin, as I anticipated, but it is not as thin as This material did not seem to be a rippable material to me or have holes in it. After drop off, I will review this within 10 minutes. My disappointment is great.
