Are there any longer shafts available so that I can go through a door and stud 6 inches in width?

We only have one shaft that is 6" in diameter, and we recommend it for doors that are no thicker than five inches

A glue stick was needed to fix it

It is therefore impossible to hold the part that slides onto the shaft to engage inside the door to the shaft, so you can pull the door and it will just slide off the end. There is not enough strength in the hex screw to hold the bolt in place. A small amount of superglue held it in place. It is useless.
