With the back plate, you will not find screws. Those are included in the cabinet hardware pulls you can purchase with the backplate if you need them.
With the drawer pull, we did not use that backplate In any case, it should work, and I don't understand why you'd put a drawer pull with a backplate since the drawer pull already has a back.
I purchased oil rubbed bronze back plates to match the handles on my kitchen cabinet doors. They measure 3" across. Antique gold ones might be available at Amerock, but I am not sure.
The rectangular part is 1-3/8 " wide. The rectangular part dates from approximately 2005 to 2006 and has been maintained.

The corner of the room has two doors and a fold-up desk, the shelf had big ugly handles when we got it, my husband switched them out for smaller 3 inch handles with back plates. We just got new back plates to go with the new handles, they look great.
The items are not worth the cost. They are worth just 99 cents each. In spite of the fact that they cost $4 a piece, they appear cheap and unfinished. I am really disappointed with.
One or two of the holes on some cabinets were slightly misaligned, preventing their flat alignment in front of the cupboard.
Refinishing cabinets and drawers would be far more expensive.
I paid a lot of money for them, and they look great.
The product is well made and is of good quality. It is well built and works well for its purpose. Although the handle did not come out far enough, it nonetheless appears to be well made.
It was the first and original cabinet panel I chose. What a joy it is for me! I love how elegant they are and how they will match the cabinetry perfectly.
It looked excellent on the new cabinets and completed the task of covering the extra hole in the handle.
