Hello: The following are the steps to resetting the card:br>1: To hear a beep, press the reset button on the lock body with a toothpick for 2 seconds.
2: After hearing the sound, use an induction key card to continuously induct the lock body two times. The lock body will make a beep every time it detects it.
3: When you use the proximity card to continuously sense the lock body, the lock body is in the open state; do not perform any operations until the lock body closes on its own. The card that has just been inductively locked is the management card when the lock body is closed, and the management card is successfully set at this time.
4: After you've successfully set up the management card, you'll want to do the following: You can add more cards if you want. To detect the lockbody, use the management card. After induction, the lock body will open, allowing you to quickly add additional cards by simply using the added card; it is sufficient to sense the lock body once, and all additional cards must be completed within 5 seconds.
Because a qualified battery will last for 8 months if purchased properly, I recommend replacing the battery on a regular basis, such as once every six months, to avoid unnecessary trouble. When the battery is about to run out, it will sound an alarm and a "beep" beep will sound continuously for 8 beeps, reminding you to replace it.

This is fantastic. I'll get more for the grandparents' house to keep the kids' electronics locked up at night so they can sleep. br>br>The only thing I'd change is to use some double-sided foam tape to hold the bolt side in place while mounting. br>br>After mounting the lock side, I taped the back of the bolt side, inserted the bolt into the lock, and closed the door. The tape adhered to the door, securing the bolt in place for installation.
It's impossible to tell whether it's locked or not. I also added 3/4-inch canvas photos to the front, and the key card works through those as well as the 3/4-inch wood door!.
br>br>The installation was not easy because perfect alignment of the pieces is difficult. They should definitely include a template and/or some two-way communication. To make the installation process easier, use double-sided tape. One trick I discovered was to place the smaller lock piece flat on the shelf first. Connect the larger piece to the smaller one until they are locked together. To perfectly position the larger lock piece, slide a 2 pencil beneath it. br>br>Once it's installed, it's fantastic. I reprogrammed all of the cards and fobs to work with both locks, eliminating the need for a left and right keycard or fob. br>br>My only concern is that the electronics will not last long or that the low battery feature will not function properly. It would be impossible to non-lock it if it malfunctioned and became stuck in the lock position. Return to the cabinet in a destructive manner. If that happens with either device, I'll update this review.
When my custom-built media console came with a lock, I decided to put it in. The 5 year old figured out how to open it and began peering inside; it works flawlessly without the need for any keyholes or other modifications. br>In terms of installation, it was a bit of a challenge. There are no installation instructions in the included manual, so it took me a while to figure out how to get both pieces to match. The key is to align them with double-sided tape rather than drilling holes to keep them in place. Push the smaller piece into the larger one, then tape the larger piece inside so that the smaller one is nearly flush with the surface where the door will be. Then, on the smaller one, apply double-sided tape, peel it off, close the door (pushing it against the tape), unlock the lock with the NFC key, and open the door. The smaller piece will adhere to the door, indicating its proper location. To ensure that the lock engages properly and does not leave a hole between the cabinet and the door, you may need to adjust the larger piece forward and back (peeling tape and sticking it again).
This was purchased to secure a cabinet door and keep some items secure. Overall, I think it's fantastic! The cards all worked right out of the box, but I used the included instructions to reset and reprogramme them. I had to make a second latch so that the single lock could secure both sides of the cabinet, but it was a simple process. I was having trouble installing the card because I wanted the small locking pin on the door but couldn't get it to read. After rearranging a few things, I was able to get it to work. I placed the card on the shelf directly above the cabinet, rather than on the face of the door. The 1/2-inch shelf was easily navigated by the reader. Because I open my cabinet with a key card, everyone now thinks I'm a secret agent!.
It has a lot of uses. I used it to secure a cabinet with a hidden lock. The signal is unaffected by the presence of 5/8-inch particle wood. It's a tad thick, but nothing out of the ordinary. It appears to do a good job of securing the door. The only tricky part is aligning the door latch with the lock mechanism hole. It's well worth the money, and it comes with a number of cards and key fobs. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've been using it for about a month and I'm really happy with it. It really works. It's virtually undetectable, so no one is aware that it's there. There is nothing to pry into, and no one knows where to try to break in. Batteries also last a long time.
I had to move pieces around several times before it would meet up precisely enough to engage, which was exactly what I needed for my gun cabinet project. There were no issues after that. Two card keys and three keychain keys are included in the package.
Unfortunately, after a few months, mine would not unlock. It was in a cabinet that I didn't use very often, and it wouldn't open one day. This was disappointing because I used glue to build the cabinet, which made it difficult to get inside, but at least it was wood. I tried making several duplicate fobs, but none of them worked. It was fantastic until it broke down. br>br> I won't take that chance again. In fact, I'm not sure I'll ever buy another powered lock. Combination locks are always effective.
