The basic instructions were included, but keep in mind that the two pieces require different sized screws. Ours are simple to set up and work well.
Screws were included in mine.
They do not, in fact.

However, no template for the mounting screws is provided! This is a major flaw in the system. When the lock is closed, the proper distance between the flange and the lock is required. When the lock is closed, one of the screw holes is covered, making it difficult to get the distance from the flange just right. We were putting together a table with a leaf, so the flange and lock on the other half had to be completed. This made getting everything in the right place even more difficult. br>br>A simple template would greatly improve the value of this product; it worked but was extremely difficult to set up.
Installation was simple and the fit was perfect. The table's originals had broken (2 of the 4) over the years, and we hadn't bothered to replace them because I assumed it would be too much of a hassle. I finally decided to deal with it when the third one broke. It was incredibly simple to set up. This is something I wish I had done years ago.
Our table's latches were broken, and we couldn't tighten the leaf any longer. The kits come with enough latches for someone to install these latches if the table does not have them, and we replaced the broken ones with our purchase, and they are perfect. This is a product that I strongly suggest.
To the kitchen table, I had two leaf inserts. These have the best wood screws I've ever seen and are the most durable I've seen. We'll move forward now that the table has been latched together. It's made of solid metal and is extremely durable.
Engineers deserve a lot of credit. For the money, this is the best product available.
They certainly did their job, but if you don't have a drill or a little common sense, you might want to look for another option.
They are successful. I was tired of the two halves of our old IKEA table coming apart, so I staled these babies to keep everything together.
Installation was a breeze because these brackets were very similar to the ones that had broken on our old dining table. However, I'd like a small insert that explains how to install it properly. The brackets are functional, but it took a few tries to get the right fit and function. I don't entirely blame the brackets; the table's sliding mechanism appears to be a little loose, allowing it to sag. For a reasonable price, this is an excellent product.
