As for the knob itself, it is an oblate sphere It has a diameter of 1 1/8" and a thickness of 1/2". The same object could be shown on top of a column where the top and bottom of the column are about 5/8" in diameter and about 3/32" high, with the section between the ends gradually dropping to 1/4" in diameter from about 1/2", where it meets these ends. About 3/4 of an inch high is this column. Under the column end facing the cabinet, there is a recess of about 1/16" so that the screw will have to be the thickness of the knob plus that recess before it start to screw into it. There is a problem with the screw length at that point. In my wife's opinion, these knobs are good because the shape prevents greasy fingers from touching the wood around the knob.

The items listed here are not pulls, and therefore should not be ordered if you are looking for them. Whether you believe it or not, they are. A knob. Regardless, the kitchen will look a lot better than that from Better Homes and Gardens, but they will dress it up just There were no knobs on the kitchen cabinets in our house they were cookie cutter units for the subdivision. In order to help boost our overall selling price, we had house renovations done that included installing these knobs on all the kitchen cabinets. It took me about an hour to do them all, but when I was done, my kitchen went from a solid 6 to a solid 7. The ends did not quite line up but we sold our house, sight unseen, to some people from another state. I hate it.
I was able to use the screws that were provided. They are heavy and seem to be a quality product. My experience with this site was easy and saving money was a big plus.
If you downgrade this product due to the length of the mounting screws you should be embarrassed for you have not read the Amerock Installation Manual (pdf) available on this page (see the product specifications). You can clearly see here that screws are needed at different lengths for different thicknesses of cabinets. With the enclosed screws, my cabinets were inexpensive and worked like a charm when I bought them new. There was only one set of bi-fold louvered doors in my laundry room that I experienced an issue with. The thickness of this material is 125". Thanks to a few washers and a little frustration, I was able to find the perfect Some of the extra knobs were the only ones I had left over so I used those on those doors. It's about time for me to replace the knobs I have now as some of them are peeling. Initially, I was thrilled to receive 25 flat black knobs for such an amazing price! Unfortunately, they are only one inch in diameter, and are way too small for my tastes. This knob is much more compact than my current (peeling) knob, as you can see in the picture. As well as the 6 cabinets in the hallway from the entry that lead to the living/dining rooms, which previously did not have any hardware, I purchased these for an entire kitchen with no previous hardware - their price was very reasonable - and they looked great as well. After I got tired of having to claw them open, causing damage to my nails, I found these on Amazon where a quantity of 25 was being sold at an affordable price (a lot less expensive than any of the big box stores where I live, and a much take advantage of the good deal while it lasted. I assumed that the plastic bags were to keep them protected in transit and storage because they came in a box with each knob and screw in its own little plastic bag. A longer screw than the one supplied may be needed depending on the thickness of the cabinet/drawer front, but these are normally available at home improvement stores for a low price.
Beautiful hardware knobs made from heavy duty steel. They are smooth with no rough edges, and they are shiny and heavy duty. It came in a set of 25 with a screw that came with each package. If I convert the knobs from gold to silver on the rest of my cabinets, I will purchase more.
This knob set was purchased due to the price. It was excellent value for the number of knobs that it came with. The decor could easily be changed to suit our needs. They aren't just plain boring nickel any longer once they've been coated with metallic copper spray paint. The hardware arrived with its own screw hardware in the package, so there was no missing hardware. The screws were long enough to go through our kitchen cabinets, and each knob was individually packaged with its own screw hardware, so there was no loss during shipping. Adding hardware is an affordable way to put an accent on a home without spending a lot of money. I have included a picture of these I have kept them painted well, and they seem to have held up very well.
