The collection of parts here is a great one for hobbyists. The book is geared toward people who build things, so it would be nice if a paper insert explained what each of the parts are and what they were designed for.
With this kit, you are getting a great value. A nice molding on terminal blocks retains the wire well, and they snap into DIN rails with ease. I have only worked with steel Din rail in the past, but I have no problem with the extruded aluminum on this. The purpose of this is to mount a pair of DC supplies and tidy up the wiring on my CNC It is so much easier to use this than screw blocks with crimp terminals.
The packaging is super and the product is nice. As they can be pulled from stock and packaged, rather than grabbed -- they make it easier than having to grab. Rails on the din. Terminal blocks, terminal plates, and end caps are the parts of these components. We are going to order more of them to store for jobs and services. Again, the product is Industrial Quality, yet the packaging makes it so easy for the customer to use and account for it. This is a highly recommended book!.
There are a couple of grounding DIN blocks in this set that come in handy. I wish I could buy a smaller set of the same. It's been very easy to use the jumper blocks in series of two or three as well, cutting the jumper blocks to the size I need using dikes.
Kits before this one had correct spacing, but not this one. These are the terminals used for the jumpers that were recently shipped, and the black terminals for the jumpers that had already been shipped. The new purchase was the source of both sets of terminals.
When completely covered in rust, they were not good conducting electrical current. I returned the item the same day it was delivered.
In a machine, for example with a power distribution layout, connecting wires between several pins is necessary.
I am pleased with this set, as it is good for connecting some motors and controls.
