The answer is yes. If the internet is running, it can even be used as a switch. If you use this switch to control an outlet connected to your internet gateway, it will allow you to control whether the internet is working or not.
You can find instructions in the enclosed document. Attached to the 2 must also be a PHONE. A WiFi connection of 4 mHz. The light should blink about 2 times per second on the switch. In that case, hold down the switch button for about 7 seconds until the lights begin to blink There is an alternative method in the enclosed guide (directly connected to the switch instead of transferring through the router) if that fails again. It doesn't appear that I had any difficulty using the default method, however, there is a second option if that doesn't work.
This works perfectly - thanks The same applies if the circuit is a four-way In spite of that, if it is used it MUST be used to replace the 3 way switch connected to the light (load side), not one connected to the incoming power (line When I turned other switches on and off, the light would always correctly indicate the status of the light, but I could confuse it by turning other switches off and on. Thus, Alexa has the same purpose In the case that it is On and you ask Alexa to turn it on, it will stay It won't turn back on if you have a group set to turn Everything Off.
A similar app (Smart Life) is used by other outlets as well. If you want the easiest option, you can simply use a "Mini Plug" (which doesn't require you to replace the outlet directly). Input of the Mini Plug is from the outlet and output from the Mini Plug is from the appliance. Additionally, it can be used in outlets with GFCI protection. Their MiniPlug is available from this vendor, but I have not tried their products. (My experience is limited to Gosund plugs, so I am not sure how this does in comparison to their three-way switch.)

A smart electric light switch would allow me to control them remotely when I am away and also through the Alexa smart home system. have purchased two of the smart light switches from Nexete and I am very pleased with them. It was easy to install the switches since they came with mounting screws, wall plates, and instructions. A couple of minutes were required for the Alexa smart home app to be set up. Through the app, I can control my security lights and porch lights while I'm away. I'm also able to simply ask Alexa to turn them on. You can also set a timer in the app in order to turn it on and off at specific times or you can physically touch the panels to turn it on and off.
It must be within the last 3 An electrical circuit contains a three-way switch. This is good The course is graded on a 3-point scale SmartLife platform can be used to control this switch. This is bad It does not have any UL or ETL certification or markings, despite saying in the description that it is ETL and FCC approved. I find this to be a problem. I am really feeling Your homeowner's insurance will not cover the loss if a fire starts in a house with this switch involved! I think this is a deal-maker For me, this is a deal breaker. I will be returning the switch for just this reason. I should mention that it does have the FCC marking, but that does not affect my homeowners insurance. In order for the switch to be successful, it must be the last three In the circuit, there is a four-way switch. For LOAD, the Common wire must be used. A LINE account cannot be created using it. An electrical current must pass through one of the traveler wires to reach this switch. I think you can clearly see what I'm doing in that picture. A lack of UL or ETL markings, as well as. Clearly marked "Load Out", the common wire is a wire that will carry the load. This will not work because there is no UL/ETL for line input. I tested it to know if it can be set up as Line In and the travelers handling load out (before I realized there were no UL/ETL), but it won't work. A SUMMARY I strongly recommend that you not buy this as it does not carry UL / ETL certification.
In the middle of my bedroom, I bought this dimmable light in the hopes that I could smart-wire it. Unless the house was built within the last few years, most homes do not have the common wire already installed. Many of the appliances and switches specify in their titles that they require a common wire, so I had to return it.
Getting this item installed was actually pretty easy, and it is holding up quite well. It's a touch switch instead of a toggle switch, as I expected. Seeing as how it is in my garage, we will have to see how long it lasts. The directions for setting up were incomplete, so 4 stars were given in the initial review. Smart Life is already installed in my home, but it's good to know that it requires you to hold down the switch for about 10 seconds for it to blink so you can access.
As soon as it is pressed, the switch makes a clicking sound. Due to the "limited" instructions, I had a little trouble setting it up, but saw what I had to do after I figured it out. It's audible across the room when it goes on and off, and that click can be heard. I've had great success with Amazon The ones I have are great and I'd definitely like to add more to.
The house I live in was built in the 1970s, so it had all outlets with neutral wires It's easy to check for one by pulling off your switch cover, pulling the switch out a little and finding a white wire that may not be attached to A good video on how to do this can be found on YouTube. Make sure your phone is connected to the 2 in order to connect to wifi. It was using the 5gh band, so I had to put it onto the 4gh band of my router (most modern routers are dual band, but mine used the 5. The 4gh band) (again, Google and YouTube are your best friends). My Android phone now doesn't even need to be touched! Just downloaded the specific app, associated it with Google Home, and now I don't need to touch the switch at all! My order for more of them has been placed. This is so great!.
There is a safety issue with this product that I have concerns about. If you have a metal electric box, the wire screws are on top and on the short end. Be sure to wrap it with electric tape so that there will be no shorts.
There is a requirement that you must have a neutral wire. You can't make that stuff up. It is unusual for 3-D films to have a white background This switch (as far as I can tell from my experience and the instructions) should be located in the box that is connected In the other box, I was unable to connect to it. It's most likely an error made by the user. A good thing about the switch is that if some moron wires it up incorrectly (tripping the circuit breaker), the switch is not fried, which could have happened if it had been wired incorrectly. I am ADHIK. It was easy for me to configure this smart outlet using the "Smart Home" app. I have several smart outlets with the "Smart Home" app, so it wasn't a big deal. The 2 must be in the correct spot. It's not a joke either that they have a 4Ghz wireless network. As soon as I finished that, I asked Alexa to discover new devices and we were off and running!.
