My house has a variety of single and three-way switches, so I bought a variety of smart dimmers and smart switches. The installation of a single switch is quite simple, but three way switches require a little bit more effort. The printed instructions inside the three-way switch should be followed for installation else the smart switch/dimmer could be faulty because the normal switch is on only during the period when the smart switch/dimmer is working. Looks like someone commented that the three way switch doesn't work for them all of the time. My guess would be that they didn't read and follow the directions for the installation of the three way switch, which is why it only works when the normal switch is in a particular.

The packaging specifically stated that an add-on switch was not necessary for this model, so I was excited to test it out. Having said that, while it is technically true that the light would still work without the second switch, the light wouldn't work if it was accidentally flipped down. My GE lights also cannot be connected to Wink like the rest of my lighting. As a result, I have to install a new app to control it.
