It gave me control over both a fan and a separate light at the push of a button. It is irritating when all that is needed is a Separating them was made possible by this double switch. Turning off the breaker was the only fix needed. I found it to be a simple fix as long as you turn the breaker off. I hope you're able to make this work.
There is a connection between them. I don't even know what loud is to you. It is a good idea to test them before installing them, and send them back if they are too loud.
Despite the device's glossy finish, it looks incredibly rugged. Thank you for your interest in TopGrener
If you know which is the hot one (my guess is the red one), you can connect it to a black screw. Next, use the other two loads (my guess is the black ones) and attach them individually using the brass screws. Set it up only after you identify the hot one (and only the one with power) with a voltmeter

A "jumper" exists between the top and bottom switch, but it is not mentioned in the instructions. You can connect a switch to the light and the exhaust fan without removing the jumper if you hook up a light to the switch and you hook up the switch to the light. Normally, the fan and the heater operate at the same time. It is necessary to remove the small copper "jumper" with needlenose pliers so they can operate independently. You probably would not notice it because it's so small, so having to pull the switch back out to remove it would be the most convenient way to go. Apart from that, it is a pretty.
In my original plan, I intended to replace my existing switch with this double rocker so I could turn on the fan and light from another switch, and control the vanity lights from a different Prior to the installation I changed my mind as I wanted to turn on my fan on one switch but have both lights on separate switches. This worked out very well and now I am able to turn on my fan and turn on all my lights simultaneously or only one set of lights to conserve Since I'm no electrician, I say you can probably safely install such devices on your own with some YouTube videos and common knowledge.
It is a bit difficult to install the double light switch, but once it is in place, it works fine. I was able to operate both appliances with one light switch after the first installation. Even after taking the device apart and reinstalling it, it still doesn't work. When I read some articles about it, I learned that it needed to be modified before installation. The instructions, however, did not explain how to do this. After that, I called the company and they explained to me that I needed to use a wire cutter to cut the jumper that is located between the two There is a copper link that is attached to the switch but cannot be removed, so it has to be cut to separate the two switches. When I cut the double light switch and removed it, I was able to use it again. I can't figure out why they send the double light switch in this configuration.
As far as looks are concerned, it looks just like the ones you can buy at big box stores. There is no quality but the quantity is Having been used very lightly for less than two months, the top switch quit working reliably recently- It probably took a dozen flicks to turn the switch on. Switching the current "on" now causes it to flicker or turn off completely, despite a bulb swap, to confirm the problem wasn't due to the bulb. My opinion is that I would never buy this product.
To replace a double switch on a standard outlet cover, I ordered this switch. Lastly, I replaced the cover with a screwless plate to keep it clean and low profile. The switch was packaged incorrectly, and the bottom switch failed to operate properly, causing the attached lights to flicker from time to time and turn off when tapped on hard. Please re- There was no solution to the problem with wiring. This switch was returned, and I replaced it with an identical one and it now.
However, they can be a bit loud when they click. You can flick it on and people 3 rooms away will know that it's on - I heard. Getting rid of the loud clicks on a switch that you use frequently is easy just buy one of Leviton's soft switches instead.
My first step was to pull it out and reverse it When I wired a top and bottom switch, the defective switch still produced the same problem.
The decor of a double pole or a throw The new Way) in black, however, is hard to find at brick-and-mortar stores The laptop I received worked fine, but I had been hoping to find it in a brick-and-mortar store. Upon opening the box, I noticed that it feels quite solid in the hands and its switches have a satisfying 'click'. In my bathroom, I installed it for a light and exhaust, and it has been working flawlessly ever since. The only way to find out if it keeps this nice feeling 'click' over the years is to wait and see. It seems there is something wrong with the batch of these products I haven't encountered any of the problems that others have encountered. Perhaps they just.
