This has a power rating of 1875 Watts. Look at the label and multiply the Volts by the Amps to determine how many Watts your AC requires. The majority of small window or floor air conditioners will meet the requirements. What else do you want to plug into this multiplug, though? You won't be able to use more than the rated Watts, which is 15 AMPS in this case. In theory, you can use all 12 plugs as long as you don't use more than 15 AMPS (1875 Watts) at the same time; for example, if you have two 75-watt lamps, you'll use 150 watts, leaving 1725 watts available. With those lamps, a small heater rated at 1500 watts will suffice (1500 watts + 150 watts = 1650 watts). If you plan to use the air conditioner and add two lamps, a radio, and a fan, you'll be fine as long as you don't use more than 1875 Watts while they're all on (check the labels or do the math). It's a very straightforward formula: br>WATT = AMP X VOLT (W= A X V) OR AMPS = WATT DEVIDED BY VOLT (A = W / V)br>Let me give you another example: if you plug this in the kitchen and want to keep the cords of several appliances plugged in, it will be fine as long as you do not run high-demand appliances at the same time. So you can plug your coffee maker, toaster, blender, br>I hope that this information is useful.
Yes, technically, but the weight of the items plugged into it, especially since it's below the level of the plug, will cause it to pull out if done that way. That is something I do not recommend; The screw is recommended because it keeps the outlet snug.
You take off the faceplate and mount it, using the same screw hole that held the faceplate in place to secure it with the longer screws that aren't included. I should also mention that this outlet blew my outlet the moment I plugged it in, necessitating the services of an electrician to replace the outlet. Customer service from the seller was appalling, and they refused to replace it until I sent them photos. This is completely unacceptable.
The lights are a pale green color. To tell if they're on, you might have to dim the lights. Also, are you sure the base plug is grounded properly? I've seen cases where someone has used a three-digit number. In a box without a ground, a prong receptacle is used. A test kit costs $5 on Amazon. Any three-dimensional problem will be diagnosed by 99 of them. outlet by pronge Shop- Tek / C- CZCARTA H Electrical Receptacle Wall Plug AC Outlet Ground Tester H Electrical Receptacle Wall Plug AC Outlet Ground Tester H Electrical Receptacle Wall Plug AC Outlet Ground Tester H

In order to use my hair dryer, tooth brush, and charge my phone, I needed a wall charger in my bathroom. This multi-plug outlet is ideal for my needs. You can see how convenient it is to charge your phone with so many outlets and a phone holder. The feature that I like the most is that there is a hole in the lower part of it that you can screw into the wall to secure it, even if you have a GFCI! When unplugging anything, I never have to be concerned that it will fall off. Love it!.
When I went to plug it in, it blew up. It now needs to be repaired by an electrician. I am a dissatisfied client.
It perfectly meets my needs with its 12 AC outlets. I could fit almost everything on it and still have a few extras. I can even connect a number of large adapters. Surge protection of 1680 Joules, ground, surge protected LED lights, and an over current reset button on the side all give me the impression that this is a very safe product; however, I'm a little puzzled as to why there is a small but long hole in the lower middle. Now it's time to read the instructions. It's for a screw to secure it to the GFCI outlet, as far as I can tell. As a result, this device can be screwed into any existing outlet! The design is fantastic. I'm going to make more of this right away. When unplugging anything, I won't have to worry about it falling out!.
Amazing product with a compact design that saves space! 12 outlets and 3 USB ports are built into such a small space that it is the same length as an iPhone. It's the ideal solution for my home office; I no longer require multiple plugs to charge my two laptops, an iPad, a phone, and a massage chair. It's very handy.
This would be ideal in a multimedia center. On three sides, there are outlets. Surge protection is included as well. Small electronic devices can be charged using the USB ports. It is small and well-designed.
This is a safety hazard. br>br>I got this with the idea of solving the problem. When I went to plug it in, there was a blue spark and a burnt electric odor before the plug even touched the outlet. Before I could plug it in, it scorched the back of it, and now it's dead. Because of this, I'll have to go to the hardware store, turn off my breaker, and replace an outlet. br>br>I'll spend more money on products that are UL-listed and manufactured by a reputable company. I'd give it zero stars because it's a fire hazard, and I believe it deserves a full refund because I'll have to go to the home store and spend the time and money to fix it. Yes, it's a GFCI outlet, and yes, it's dead. EDIT: br>br> Given the two screw locations provided, the listing specifically states that it can be used on GFCI outlets. If you look closely at the burned plug in my photo, you'll notice that it says "Do Not Use on GFCI Outlets. " My blown outlet was on a GFCI circuit, but it wasn't plugged into a test and reset GFCI outlet. My dog's underground fence is also connected to this circuit. I haven't heard anything from the seller, so I'm hoping the $5 outlet I picked up at Lowe's will suffice. Returning to Tripp Lite products because I'm dissatisfied.
The characteristics are well-known to you. Here's the problem that can be fixed: When the bottom screw on this item is tightened on an outlet without the center screw, it pulls the top tap out of the receptacle a little, preventing the adapter from being made really tight. br>br>The solution is as follows: Install a 1/4-inch shim, a piece of rubber, a section of pencil, and a thin piece of wood below the bottom screw, and tighten it down. It secures the adapter by evening out the adapter over the receptacle.
This item appealed to me because it can be screwed into a decora outlet. This is the rectangular duplex outlet with a screw at the bottom and none in the middle. The majority of other multi-user applications The older style octagonal duplex outlets require screws to attach output devices. The issue is that because they are not securely fastened, they easily dislodge when plugged into decora outlets. When multiple plugs are connected, the weight of the plugs tends to dislodge them. Both the decora and the octagonal sockets can be securely fastened with the Powsav device. br>br>As soon as the device arrived, I realized how helpful it would be in my office. My various plugs are available in a variety of sizes. Two or more outlets can be covered by a single plug. I had to use two different 6-packs to get the job done. plug adapters to accommodate the plugs I use As a result, I had to stretch wires from my desk to the two outlets I needed to use. The Powsav device is equipped with 12 three-dimensional sensors. outlets with three prongs Six of them are parallel to the wall on the device's face, and they're oriented sideways compared to the duplex wall socket's orientation. Each of the two sides has three sockets that are perpendicular to the wall. Plugs with a long dimension that would cover a second socket in a standard two-socket configuration will extend into the room and thus cover no other sockets. If you have plugs that cover sockets on both sides, you can put them on the bottom row of the front or on the top or bottom sockets on the side, and they won't cover anything else in those orientations. br>br>I have two standard 3-foot desks in my home office. prong plugs, as well as five plugs that can be positioned horizontally or vertically. I can plug all seven into the Powsav device and still have outlets left over. Years ago, this would not have been possible because standard duplex outlets were always rated at a maximum of 15 Amps. Phone and tablet chargers, as well as laptop power supplies, have extremely low power ratings in today's office. My 7 plugged-in devices draw a maximum of 4 amps. They don't even come close to reaching the outlet's maximum rating. I'm guessing 1 amp for the laptop and 0 for the other devices. 6 chargers and accessory power supplies require a total of 5 amps. br>br>Although the main reason for the purchase was to have a secure mechanical connection, being able to plug in so many different devices with different geometries greatly simplified my wiring mess. Surge protection is necessary and can be found in a variety of other multi-function devices. devices that plug in The USB outlets give you more options and can help you save money on wiring. Because my external accessories come with their own power supply cords that aren't USB compatible, they have to take up outlet slots. br>br>Despite the fact that I had only recently received the device, I immediately saw another use for it and ordered a second copy. Because the underlying technology is mature and proven, I am optimistic that these devices will last a long time. If the devices fail within the next few months, I will update this review.
