They are not used for high voltage wiring, but they work fine for low voltage wiring.
It seems that these are Chinese knockoffs, but they are reasonably priced. This is not the kind of thing I would use in my house, I bought it for low voltage use.

Wire nuts are used to replace these. They are reversible The ability to use The idea appeals to me. The work is more tidy when they are used. I really like the concept, but I think it needs a little work. Probes that would be used to confirm circuit connections are too small to fit in the hole. All of the probes had to be forced into the hole after trying different sets of them - I tried 3 or 4 different types of probes. 1/32" is the size of the hole I think it would be better if it were 1/64 larger. A number of times, the wires were not in contact, and they had to be rearranged This was inserted into the text You must lower the lever all the way When it gets stuck, it can cause problems. A 3 would be a good score for it. I gave it 5 stars, but it was either 3 or 4. So, I gave it 3 stars.
We recommend the Wago brand.
These are far better than wirenuts, but they are more difficult to open than Wagos. In addition to the tiny levers and the extremely small distance between the wire holes, the release levers are very hard to lift. During the week, I use Wago at work and thought I would pinch some pennies off of it at home. In spite of the fact that I will use the rest instead of tossing them out, I will not.
There are quite a few advantages to using these. Although they seem to produce a more secure connection, I am not certain they produce as good a connection. Further, there is no UL listing on these. My experience with these tools was limited to a few DC connections in RVs. As a result of the bad factory installation, these allowed me to connect several wires with no hassle.
While convenient, I would choose them carefully depending on where they will be used and how many amps they can carry.
Our only issue was that there wasn't enough instruction on how to use them, which we found out by doing a little research on the internet. Once we understood how to use them, we will probably never go back to using wire nuts, these are far more user-friendly.
I am only unhappy with the plastic case, it is made of thin plastic and came broken on both hinges and elsewhere, I did not send it back. I will fix it with good quality duct tape, but the lever nuts are very well done, that is what matters most to.
It's a great product. In this case, it'll be your best friend if you have 2 conductors and very little slaves. It may still make sense to use the big blue wire nut if you have like five conductors since it takes up less room than the small blue wire nut.
I have used a few of these and have been very happy with them so far. Easily mixes stranded and solid wires of different gauges and makes working with them quick and simple.
Overall, it has been a positive experience. This one is probably cheaper than Wago, but Wago will probably be a bit better. The wires that came out of the box did not cause any problems for me. You will not be able to pull the wire out if it is straight and you insert it all the way. I would need a connector with more than five wires in order for it to be perfect. Since some switches I installed had up to 9 wires cutting through the ground and neutral, it was necessary for me to daisy chain two.
