These are awesome for creating high and low pass crossovers in speakers, and tests have shown that they have less resistance than solder joints. They have a small amount of resistance, but still, don't be afraid to use them - they're on the rise.

A connector must be present! The connectors are only good for two wires, so you can only use one light switch

You cannot use them for smart switches (since you need a white wire on top of a red, a black and a green wire). Only thing to consider is that it takes up a lot of space in the wire box inside your wall, especially if you have a small one with another switch already This is an excellent product both in terms of quality and utility.
