Yes, the product description on Amazon should be corrected to say 10 x 10 x 8 rather than 10 x 10 x 8. There is a magnified view of the product on the Amazon page for this product when you point your mouse over the image of the product. I've printed the wall opening size of 5 7/8" X 3 3/4," that is what's printed on the product. You will be able to read the dimensions of the opening on the right vertical arm 5 7/8 x 3 3/4. Precision is the key to good cutting. Due to the narrow flanges of this bracket, if the cut is large enough, it will not engage the wall of the opening.
In my case, I used this bracket for a 3-inch display A wall plate that is part of the theater. I noticed on-screen that it should work well with your product. It was discovered that others have used the same bracket for the same product with no issues. *br>I hope that

The news is not very exciting As advertised, they are exactly what they are. I gave the game a 5 because I believe it to be very well done, but it could use a draw. This 3 gang low voltage bracket was purchased a little earlier in 2016 for my home theater and I was initially concerned about the height of the holes based on measurements made The holes fit perfectly when I installed the basement a few years later after the basement was finished. The measurements were taken between the mounting plate holes, not the holes inside the mounting plate. A strong hold is achieved by the clamps and the wall board. Originally I had planned to return this bracket, but I couldn't find a replacement close to my home. In other words I would make it fit by cutting the sides of the box. The outfit was absolutely perfect, so I am glad that I didn't return it.
This is why I bought them, because I was looking for a product that didn't have gusseted corners, since the device I'm going to mount inside them needs every millimeter the product has. Due to the gussets on these, I couldn't use them in that application (unless I Dremelled off the gussets). Nevertheless, they are well-made and could be used for other LV applications and would be perfectly acceptable for this purpose.
item's quality is superior to those I have purchased at big box stores, since it has metal arms instead of plastic ones. There is no template provided for this, so I had to take one star off.
It seems to be okay. The price is the best I could find for a product that works well and is reasonably priced.

ordered this due to not being able to find a 3gang at home depot. The plastic is very flexible, and the clamps it uses to attach to the drywall are thin stamped metal pieces. A very easy person to please and to bend. It does not snug well against the wall because of this.
