Neither screws nor bolts are included with it. For each 1-, I used three The studs should be secured with 1-1/4" drywall screws on the inside. It is not possible to install the drywall without causing interference. It should be noted that these are for new construction (not for drywalled walls).
While I am not an expert in construction, my memory is that the mounting brackets are mounted to the framing and do not protrude beyond the drywall. It doesn't appear to be a concern with drywall thickness.

These are low voltage and should be applied to wood studs in a home. The mounting of mud rings is much easier than mounting metal.
The price paid for them makes them a good deal. Even though plastic is somewhat sturdy yet still relatively cheap (Can readily be cracked with a hammer if you miss a nail with a hammer), it helps to hold everything firmly in place. Earlier today, I purchased these so that I could inject some networking into a new house, and they passed inspection fairly well. I gave it four stars because the cases are plastic, and as I fiddled with them I realized I should have either payed more for a metal case or had a metal case that was more robust. I rated it 4 stars because it's cheap and it works well for what I wanted.
The new construction is complete. In our case, they are used.
This is my favorite part of the website It does have some additional brackets, but I still find it far superior to most of the other products I've used in the past.
The product is great for applications requiring low voltage.

The drywaller will have a miserable time trying to install these, so remember that when buying these. Seeing as these units mount directly on the stud, it is necessary to flare out the drywall about 8 inches so that the mounting bracket can be positioned against the wall. The design needs to be changed. The prices you see here would be effective, otherwise.
