My air conditioner stopped working, and the HVAC technician was unable to repair it. So far, everything has gone well. When my air conditioner stopped working, the HVAC technician told me that the run capacitor was bad, so I decided to save $200 by replacing it myself. The fan would still not turn on after that. The fan spun easily but wouldn't start, so I assumed the motor had failed as well. It took off right away after I replaced the old motor with this more efficient, lower amp, higher speed motor! Once again, the air conditioning is ice cold. br>br>PS - If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative The first issue was that changing the motor took several hours because the old motor fan was stuck due to rust, and I didn't have the proper tool to remove it, such as a wheel puller, so I resorted to coca-cola. A hacksaw, a wrench, and cola The second issue was that the fan housing did not fit the new motor wire hole, so I had to drill a new hole to feed the wires through.
When the fan on my a/c unit failed during the hottest time of the year, I installed the unit last year. Installation was fairly simple because wiring instructions are printed on the motor. For the past eight months, the unit has been quiet and error-free.
The motor is in good working order, and it is cooler and quieter than the one I replaced. The packaging, on the other hand, did not adequately protect it, and it was severely damaged as a result. A replacement was quickly sent, with damage that was similar but not as severe. A 7. was required for the first motor. The first required a 5 uF capacitor, while the second required a 5 uF capacitor. As a result, I purchased the incorrect cap.
Furthermore, having a reversible motor makes installation a breeze (especially if you make a mistake the first time and don't want to spend money on a reversed blade set).
MY TENANT NOW HAS COLD AIR, AND IT WORKS LIKE A CHARM.
It does exactly what it says. The foundation is strong, and the engine is quiet and powerful.
Great.
It was a cinch to use. So far, everything has gone well, and the price is excellent.
