Since Michigan sees various types of weather, the door bell has kept up well and is barely worn out. I still highly recommend it! I have had a good experience so far. The installation process is straightforward. The house I live in has two stories. In the basement I plugged in one receiver, and in the upstairs I plugged in another. I installed the transmitter right in front of the front door and it works just fine. It lights up when I push the bell on the transmitter so that I know when a signal will be sent to the receiver. As far as what sound or music you want for a door bell, there's no shortage of choices. In the short time since purchase, I have been satisfied.
It was all part of this system. AFTER MY DOOR BELL WAS GETTING INTERMITTENT, I BOUGHT A NEW DOOR BELL BUTTON, OF COURSE FROM AMAZON, AND THAT WORKED FOR A WHILE, THEN DIED. A $50 didn't seem like that much money. I had to replace the Home Depot item, so I went back to Amazon where this little no brainer showed up. A BIT HARD TO OPEN THE CASE TO INSERT A BATTERY, BUT SAFELY WAS ABLE TO DO SO, BACK TOGETHER, GREAT CHIMES AND FOR ONLY TEN CENTS! I say YAY Amazon!.
