If you're not sure if they make one, look through the Square D catalog.
The ventilation behind where the breaker grips the buss bar is evidently provided by the slots beneath the screws. If the temperature in that area rises to the point where the circuit breaker trips, the space becomes available for heat loss. That's about it. It's completely useless.
The answer is two separate phases of two 30 amps each.

The stated lifetime warranty and the convoluted process Schneider Electric makes you go through for a warranty claim on a $25 product are my issues with this product. br>br>Called SE for a warranty replacement on a failed breaker. They gave me a case number and instructed me to go to a local distributor, show them the claim number, and have them complete a return merchandise authorization so that the defective item could be returned to SE. SE would then inspect the returned item, determine if it was defective, and send out a replacement. I only have one thing to say: really? SE, do you expect a consumer to go through this process for a $25 residential product, even if a professional determined that the breaker was defective (tripping every 10 minutes), replaced it with a new breaker, and the problem was resolved? You should make your consumer-facing website as simple as possible. Get out of the residential products business if you don't want to deal with the processes.
It was a perfect fit in my 1970s Square D QO panel. This generator will be used as a backup.
However, as is, it does not work. I had to slightly file down the corner where it clamps into the breaker box to make it fit. It would have pushed the one next to it off its panel if it didn't have this. They're all square d, so I'm not sure if I got a mistake or not. For me, this is the first time.
Was exactly what I needed for a generator lockout prior to the installation of a new service panel. Square D is the best at what they do.
Square D produces high-quality goods. This isn't any different. Use Square D breakers if your panel is Square D.
My 20 A breaker had to be upgraded to a 30 A breaker. This square D breaker replaces the old one in its original location. br>It was a breeze to set up - This is not a joke. br>Overall, it's a fantastic piece of work.
To serve a dryer circuit, I installed this high-quality 2 Pole breaker in my Square D QO panelboard. This breaker is of excellent quality, was simple to install, and functions flawlessly.
