Questions & Answers

What is the power breaker panel for square d homeline?

Neither this breaker nor the Square D Homeline breaker panel are compatible with it. This pair of shoes can be found at two different stores The Homline breaker panel requires a three-pole, 240 volt, 20 amp, GFI breaker with a model number that begins with the letter "HOM.".

In the event that it is damaged during transport, what should be done?

Please return it

How do I get a new gfci board after the old one failed after a year?

You can follow the warranty directions by going to square D.

How should the wiring be done. My circuit consists of 220 volts, 2 black hot wires, ground, and a white wire?

Greetings, on the beaker you can find 3 terminal screws. In the case of two black (hot) wires, the screw terminals closest to each other and to the front edge of the breaker serve as those points. In order for you to protect your circuit, you need to attach the white wire (common or neutral) to the screw terminal right next to the white wire on the breaker. On the neutral bar, the white wire connects the breaker to the neutral. As a matter of course, your ground wire intersects with the ground bar. It's my hope that this will help!

Warranty claims are handled in a horrible way
3/5

Having installed SquareD circuit breakers for many years without incident, I can attest to their quality. bought a lot of these in 2019 so I can use them for my garage's subpanel. The week before last, one of them went short internally. When reviewing the warranty, you need to call the company and obtain a case number, as My assumption was that it would be no problem because it comes with a 10 year warranty for homeowners. As it turns out, you would also need to bring the item to the store that you purchased it from, who will then handle As far as warranties are concerned, Amazon does not handle them the responsibility lies with My mention of Home Depot was met with customer service advising they should be able to assist. That's all right. It was very polite, but all but laughed when I told them I was claiming a warranty for a product that My face was red with humiliation as a result. At the moment, I am waiting for Schneider Electric customer service to get back to me. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

The protection provided by this device is excellent
5/5

I installed this in the electrical panel, commonly known as a panelboard, to protect the garage outlets and outdoor service outlets. Additionally, we purchased and installed a 220 volt 20 amp GFCI/AFCI breaker for a pool pump job. I went with an ARC fault and a manual shutdown Ensure the pump is protected at all times by installing a GFI breaker. We installed the GFI breaker to meet the current building code requirement for interruption In the old Square D panel, the QO style breaker fit right in.

It works like a charm
5/5

My choice was carefully made to use this product that matches the breaker box rather than some of the alternatives. It seems as though this GFCI was intended to work and my project was successful. This has been a positive experience for the family. It is always a good idea to match the breaker with.

The handle was broken when we arrived
3/5

Now that the replacement has failed, the system will not operate. On Amazon, I bought this breaker to finish the installation of my new panel, and I received it with the handle broken (the piece that no longer forms the handle is still in my possession). As a result, I had to buy another $100+ breaker, so now this paperweight looks like an expensive paperweight. I missed the 30-day return window, so I had to buy another. While I am aware that I can somehow contact the manufacturer to get a replacement, I honestly do not need one. My money would really be appreciated if I could get it My heart aches. Here's an update This is now the second time a new breaker has failed since being installed in October 2018. No matter how far you remove it from the panel, it will never reset. Now that I'm on my third breaker in less than a year, I feel like I deserve a break. Would it be OK for me to include $115 in my budget for this breakers? I sigh once again.

The breaker is a GFCI, and it works properly
5/5

A GFCI protection is needed for my electric smoker, which is powered by a 220V 20A outlet. For applications in which GFCI outlets will not suffice, this part will handle the job.

It works like a charm!! It works like a charm!! The breaker is now in place where the shorted one was
5/5

It is easy to install, and the price is reasonable. A bit eh (but not unusual), but ship within two days is nice. Pumping up the pool is completed in a relatively short period of time.

A great pool pump breaker for the VS
5/5

This is an excellent price. Is there anything else to The program works well. It was tripping the old breaker when I installed a new Variable Speed pool pump. As a result, I was told I would have to put in a new box and go to another The one I used before changing the panel box worked like a charm. I was able to save a lot of money this way.

This was a onetime purchase. The device did what it was designed to do, so I hope I will never have to use one again.
