Although expensive, they are necessary and effective

They were difficult to find for my particular application, but I think backup power should never be without them. The only downside is that it's very overpriced for what it is, but since it's not a transfer switch, I do recommend it.

This is a pretty expensive item at the price It bent on me when I used the included drill bit. In sum, I'd buy it again without a doubt. It's worth not risking back feeding lines by mistake, since my grandpa worked as a lineman.

These are great for panels that are more than ten years old

I was able to install it on an old Square D 200A panel without any trouble. It is a little on the pricey side, but it It comes with a drill bit, so you just need a drill to use it.
