Watching a few YouTube videos and reading the documentation helped me decide whether to order. This gave me a general understanding of what needed to be done. It was only the contacts that I replaced. Although I was surprised at how quickly the old contacts were burned, it was probably the original installer's fault for not wrapping the wire around the terminal posts all the way around. As a result, heat and resistance were created. In order to get some good copper, I had to cut the wires back about an inch. Once the copper was available, I made sure each terminal had a tight loop and full contact with the screw the entire way around.
