For the Ridgid R4510, I can use this. On my saw, the switch component was marked "HY18-X" As soon as the mounting plate is removed from the camera, the label "XX" is revealed. There are no modifications required by this assembly. The switch is the same as the old switch assembly. The circuit is rated appropriately, it can handle 20 amps at 120 VAC. The clasp snaps smoothly between the closed and open states and feels well made. Using the yellow safety key is the same as using the original one. It is important to note that the same procedure will not work on your Ridgid saw as you will need to align the switch assembly to get it to fit all the way back onto the saw. If the switch is not properly inserted into the old black housing, you must first align the holes in the orange housing with those drilled in the orange housing and then align the holes in the back plate with those in the box within the saw (time-consuming and more challenging). Installing the screws in the back plate/box can be difficult if the screws are difficult to align. Shine a light from within the saw and insert and install one screw at a time to verify that all three holes align before installing the previous.
A Craftsman table saw that I had some years ago is still in good condition. There is no longer a Sears switch available. As I searched for the part number, I came across this switch. Assuming I could find the specs on the Powertec website and that the mounting holes would match, I ordered The switch can be directly replaced with this one. Since I didn't want to Mickey Mouse some sort of different switch in there, I'm glad. My original switch caught fire because the contactors inside were damaged. In the end, I preferred to buy a new switch since I was able to file them clean, but that will only last for a short while. Neither the quality nor the price can be beaten. A seven-dollar bill. As far as I can tell, Ryobi uses this switch as well. It is not necessary to go out and buy a $35 factory branded part when this is the same part? On my original switch, I had a pert number of As far as I remember, the part number for Craftsman is unavailable.
The switch housing on this device is too small to accommodate the BT3100-type device Despite the different screws (the screws will not align with the existing saw, and I do not want dust to enter the junction box if the screws are forced to fit), the back switch box/blades remain the same. The switch has 1 pin. All the pieces on the right hand side of the picture are from the new switch, and all the pieces on the left are from the old switch. I was very pleased with it. For $5, I am now able to use a fully functional table saw. Happy with my new job.
My Ryobi 10" Portable Table Saw had a bad switch, so I bought this to replace it. I decided to take a chance on this generic switch because the official switch sells for over $30. A removable bezel is available for XX). The old assembly can be replaced with a new one if you do not care about the Ryobi name on the bezel. You can also fit the new switch on your old bezel if you remove it from the new one. There are two horizontal electrical lugs on the bottom, so it required me to start the switch in with a 45 degree twist so that the terminals would.
As a replacement switch for my Craftsman 10" 15 AMP Table Saw, Model # 315, I purchased this item. Since Sears is no longer offering its OEM Switch, aftermarket models are the only options. The pros are There's no need to rewire.
It's inexpensive.
There's no need to rewire. It's fit (be sure to note which wires come off the old switch and where they are located so you can reverse the installation process). The majority of (mainly- * See my comment below)* * Cons For the screw countersink, I used a drill bit and enlarged the countersink Adding just a bit of water to the sinks. After that, I put everything back together as it had been removed. I tested the saw with the new switch in place Whether it works or not, it's perfect. Due to the fact that the original switch had so little use, I hope this one is a more durable replacement.
The router table that I built into my table saw needed (wanted) an easy to shut off power switch for the router (so I would not have to pull it out from under This switch fit the bill, and if you search online, you will find most router table manufacturers sell this switch with their branding and mounting plate at a significant premium. Overall, I would like to emphasize that With this switch, you can "turn off" with ease, it is easily mounted, is of high quality, and at a very reasonable price.
A wiring diagram is included on the side of the switch, so it is easy to install. I bought extras of these since they were so cheap. I have been having problems with the switch on my 25-year-old shopvac since that time. I found these to be extremely convenient to use. It's actually nice that the shop vac can now be turned on and off easily.
The table saw I thought was dead for good was actually alive when I tested the electrical system and determined that the switch was not allowing current. It was perfect for my needs, no special tools needed -- just plug it in and go. All of the parts such as this are no longer available through Craftsman, so I was glad to find these at this price and at such a good price. The housing of this switch isn't the same as yours, so you can take it apart and put it in yours. If you have a similar issue and the housing isn't the same as yours, take this one apart and use.
A two-prong switch needs to be replaced, but I don't want to pull the wire out of the socket Wires are incorrectly hooked up willy-nilly and the motor will be fried. Owning multiple properties is not a good idea To test the leads you will need a meter.
