The following results can be found on the product page when you search "Amp" In addition to providing a maximum current of 16 amps and 1800 watt power, the paddle switch also has a reed interlock. This is an old Delta Super 10 that I have had for 30 years. I can switch between those two without any trouble. It seems that I usually use my saw at least once a week.
It appears this product comes with the black box seen behind the switch and paddle but I'm not sure what a Hy56 box is.
I'm glad to meet you,
It does not work on a 220V line!

Originally intended for home use, I purchased this item to retrofit onto an old Craftsman table saw that had a 14 amp, 1 hp motor. I find it to be extremely useful. I did not include that it is a MAGNETIC SWITCH in the description when I first saw it. With one very important safety feature, it behaves like an ordinary switch While you are using the machine, the switch automatically flips to "off" if there is no power (for example, if there is a power outage, or if the plug comes out of the wall, or if your motor trips the breaker). In the ordinary switch, the connection stays in the on position, and the machine immediately starts running when the power is restored, which can cause a safety hazard. This switch prevents the situation from happening. I dislike the cable is 18 gauge only (embossed on the outer insulation sheathing), which means there is a risk of too much resistance, the cord heating up, and the main As for me, I haven't had any trouble so far, because I only run my table saw for a few minutes each time and all heating in that 18 gauge cord cools down before it causes me any problems. Another problem is that one of the mounting holes is blocked by the in and out bolts You have to get creative with how you mount it since it has out cables. It is a good choice for those with lower incomes The motor may need to have a lower amp rating (maybe 3/4 and less) even though it has worked well so far on my 1hp motor. are using it for production work where the machine will run for a prolonged period, be careful to check the temperature of the cord during the first few uses to ensure it is not overheating.
I installed it on an old table saw because the factory switch was too small. With my saw's frame, I was able to drill holes in order to install the switch. What a nice way to upgrade my old saw with a safety feature. Considering the safety factor, the price is well worth it. The next one I will buy will go with my planer/jointer set-up.
Because of this, the device does not continue to work in the event of power loss or a It is rated at 15 amps, but the cable diameter seems smaller than what I have with other tools with the same wattage Having not tested the waterproof feature, I cannot comment on it.
We've come up with a solution that Semi-transparent glass is used for it It has the feel of a premium product. on/off button works 99% of the time, but you need to make sure you drive it all the way in straight or else your connection may be interrupted. The stop paddle works well, but it is attached in the easiest way possible, and has been knocked and bumped off. Easy installation is a plus for me. The device was actually taken apart and the screw was mounted on the inside of the back for my purposes. It would be easy to get another one if I needed one.
During my redo of Craftsman's 1958 jointer, I was revisiting the working parts of the machine. I picked it up with a wood base on which a toggle switch was mounted and from which I could turn it on. Initially it looks like all this could have done this way, but today what could have been considered safe in 1958 doesn't work. Now it rests on a Dewalt planner table, and the motor plugs into a handy safety switch that can be turned off with a single tap. Moving the jointer until 2021 is a good idea.
After I got it I was able to install it in minutes and use it in no time at all. Since it was installed, this product has worked as intended and has been in use every day. The large size of the stop paddle particularly appeals to me. The on/off switch replacement kit is an excellent product for anyone who needs one. This switch on the other hand has an oversized stop paddle so I would even recommend replacing your old switch if it still works. The safety of our people must always come.
A router table with metal legs is what I used to install it. The holes in the metal leg framework are a perfect fit. For the bolts and nuts, I used lock washers and short bolts. In 5 minutes, I was able to install the software. I did not have to drill in my case. You will need to add 5 minutes to the install time if holes need to be drilled.
In looking locally for a suitable switch to replace the defective one on my old, 50+ year old table saw, I came across this one. There were no items in stores that I wanted, so I shopped on Amazon, which is what I should have done in the first place. A few days later, I had this beauty and was able to install it in a matter of I completely appreciate the design, quality, and convenience of the product every single time I use it.
