Questions & Answers
TST Mosaic Tiles is pleased to receive your inquiry about the product. As you approach the end, you need to cut the tiles around the edge to smooth it out. My sincerest thanks to you!
There seems to be no problem with the grout around the fireplace as long as it can be removed
As long as your walls are not too bumpy and you use thin set mortar, you should be able to use this. You should be able to finish the walls smooth if you use a product like Mussell Bound. It is best to make your walls smooth before applying the spray.

There is no need for it to be sealed. I appreciate you telling me that the unsanded grout will not harm the tile.
A stunning array of shells embedded in resin gives the tiles a distinctive beach look. My quartz countertop has bits of shell embedded in it so I paired it with The following two suggestions are offered It is important to remove the protective covering before replacing and to There is no way to see the plastic covering after it has been installed. There is no way for me to tell which piece still has the plastic on it, Maybe a color plastic could be used by the manufacturer to make it easier to locate the tiles that need the plastic to be We would like to suggest that we use a washable marker or paint to draw a dot on the pieces to help us identify tiles that still have the protective coating on them. If you don't take the grout off the white stones as soon as possible, then you will be using a straight edge razor to remove it. There is definite adhesion between the white stones and it. Although it might seem like a lot of effort, it is worth it.
I installed it in a wet bar, and the beach theme goes perfectly with it. The shells look like they are embedded in acrylic, and the strips are cut into The tape is made of plastic and sticks to each object. I removed all of the tape from the larger pieces before grouting since many of them had come off. I found the process time-consuming, however, I did not encounter any scratches since the surface could be wiped clean. I find the tiles to have a consistent pattern but the way they look when installed seems random to me. As a result, I was able to lay out the corners more easily for my project.
There was a short lead time and the tiles arrived without damage in spite of what appeared to be.
Our beach style glass tile mosaics serve as an accent piece in our kitchen, along with 4 x 16 porcelain tiles in white waves. As a precaution, we added a cardstock backer with a very thin coat of mastic to prevent extra mastic from pushing into the tiles during application. In addition to being easy to install, it was more rigid. Without mastic squeezing through the mesh, grouting was a lot simpler. In addition to the seashells and sand imbedded in these tiles, we love their unique style.
I enjoy looking at the tile. I love that it is the same color as my wall. There is only one negative I am having trouble removing the protective coating from the portion of the shells that is intact. I asked the manufacturer when and how to remove them, and they told me to do it by hand after installation. Some of them loosened up when my contractor applied grout with a float, so we removed them. It is possible, however, that some do not have a raised edge that can be gripped and peeled I'm unable to get them going. Anyone with a clue as to how to loosen them will be most appreciated.
These tiles would be wonderful the seafoam color is perfect and the seashells are soft and real. I think they're real, and I'm a sea shell addict. The only flaw was that one of the tiles had a broken corner. Having said that, it would have gotten a five star rating if it had not been broken. Fair enough, I did not notify the seller about the broken piece. Maybe they would have replaced it? Should the seller read this and decide to replace the broken part, I would definitely upgrade the rating to five stars.
The backsplash on our beach kitchen has been updated beautifully. For cutting of the tiles, a diamond glass blade was used. The advice I have is to mix tiles from each box (one box had white tiles that were more off white or gray) and not apply in full sheets or else you will see a continuous I almost feel like I am installing wallpaper by simply dropping a There were a lot of outlets and shapes to take into account with the installation to make sure patterns did not White unsanded grout and white pencil molding were used, and the final effect was fantastic. I have only complained about getting the protective plastic off the shell sections and that has been a recurring issue. checked before installing and noticed some pieces still had the plastic on them, but it bubbled up after grouting and I knew it was easier to take off. If you cannot completely get all of it off before grouting, do not concern yourself. It's impossible for me to tell if some of it is still covered in plastic.
