I used 15 square feet of this tile as an accent row around three sides of my 54-inch tub and 32-inch square shower. On my 60" bathroom counter, I also used a row as a back splash. The tiles are 12" x 12" in size.

Are the metal pieces protected by a plastic coating to prevent scratching during installation? Is it a problem if there are chipped pieces within a sheet?

The tile does have a plastic coating to protect it during shipping and installation. Tiles chipping was not an issue for me. I get a lot of compliments on the tile, and this video doesn't do it justice; the tiles are much more vibrant and shiny in the daylight.

Save yourself some time and effort! I'd been eyeing this product for a while and finally decided to purchase it for use as a back splash! I'm very disappointed because I didn't expect it to arrive in this state

When I open the box, I notice broken glass pieces on the side. The first few pieces fall off as soon as I pick them up. Every tile's metal is scratched to the point of being unusable. Because of all the scratches on every metal piece, it wouldn't even look good if I tried to glue everything back on myself! This item was clearly stored incorrectly or was simply packed in this manner for a consumer, which is completely unacceptable given the price! I pity those who purchased multiple boxes! After so desperately wanting this, I'm now left with no choice but to look for something else. Actually, it's a pity!.
