I think they're well worth the money for projects like this because they're of really good quality and make my $150 tv stand look expensive. I used gorilla glue to easily attach these to my drawers, and I plan to buy more for future projects.
It went up much faster than expected because I used tile glue. It appeals to me. It has a retro feel to it, in my opinion!.
It served as a backsplash and trim for my kitchen.
The tile is stunning, but the self-stick version did not adhere well, and half of the tiles have already fallen off. Not only did we spend over $600 on these, but we also had them installed at an additional cost. We received one box that did not contain the adhesive but did require morter, and those have stayed in excellent condition. Regrettably, I'm stumped as to how to handle the broken and useless tiles that have fallen off. The self-stick version is not something I would recommend.
Great job, Bing.
I ordered these to replace a broken mirror in my dining room. It's a large mirror, so I planned to use these to replace it.
It appears to be excellent.
Arrived in excellent condition and exactly as pictured. My new apartment had a mirror that I couldn't frame because it was smack dab in the corner. I wanted to use this as a faux frame because I like the look of mosaic tile on mirrors and thought it would be a nice neutral. In person, it's not nearly as blingy as I had anticipated. It comes with a mesh backing that you can cut to fit your desired width. It can be taken off the mesh, but I wanted to keep it level and uniform, so I left it on. I adhered the mesh with a liquid "nails" type glue, grouted in between to cover the mesh, and lined the inside with a grey silicone to prevent the mesh from reflecting at the edges. I've learned to use glue sparingly, but I'm still happy with the results.
