When we bought the house, the shed that came with the house needed to be replaced. A fresh coat of paint fixed everything, and this vent is sturdy and perfectly sized. In the old one, the plastic hardened and cracked as it deteriorated. The old one has also been chewed through by rats, don't you think? This hasn't been an issue since we moved into the apartment, but this vent has. It does not appear to be an easy passage for anything.
