Since I don't have it in my hand, I can't measure it exactly, but it seems like it was between 3/8" and 1/2". All of the hives I had were installed in the tops of beehives, so I won't be able to see them again until spring.

You can't go wrong with these. These are perfect for what they're used for (air intake/exhaust for a portable power box with 12V ammo cans). My drill bit of choice for drilling the hole in the steel can is a step bit. The silicone and glue do not need to be used. Plastic vents that have been lightly tapped into place (or pushed into place) will stay in place. It is unlikely that you will need silicone, JB Weld, glue, or anything like that unless you need rain protection. It is because of this that the "4-" The stars, then? Two reasons why it is not Prime 1) shipping costs 2) it is not Prime. $6 shipped is more reasonable for this six-in. Including shipping (including packing). The small vents served as the cooling system for a solar generator.
