As a homeowner of an old Victorian house in Mid Hudson Valley region of NY state, finding materials made from materials which were used in the original construction has become increasingly difficult, especially cedar shakes (as these were used in the original construction). On my property, I have shingles on the gable ends. As a result, Miller MasterCut shingles use the exact same material as the original shakes and have a dimensionally perfect appearance. Unfortunately, being a product of the West Coast, they are not readily available in New York state. I ran out of local supplies before I completed the project on my house as a result, I was short one box. It had already begun to rain, and the painters were already at work. Yet these brave folks came to the rescue. As a result, I received the shingles within 2 days after I placed the order. The fact that they are in WA and I am in NY is pretty impressive, considering both are located in WA! In fact, I do not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.
