Questions & Answers

What does this look like? Does it work like the gutter glove you can buy at Home Depot?

Both are the same item from the same manufacturer, and I have used them both. Unlike the Raptor from Amazon, the Raptor does not include any of the 3-inch speakers The leading edge of the band should be glued with glue strip M. You have the option of securing the Gutter Guard with either a glue strip or screws on the product from Home Depot. If you're going to use glue, I recommend using screws instead, because I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time. As long as you have a glue strip, you could as well use that along with the screws, since you just need to pull off the tape to see the glue underneath. Other than that, the instructions for the Raptor are printed on a thinner paper, not the heavy glossy paper that you would normally get from Home Depot.

Are you able to send me the sample pack in the super ?

During the day, should these guards be wiped off or brushed off? My house is on the second story, so I can't do that. It would be appreciated if you could provide your feedback. ?

As a result of pine needles accumulating on guards, I have pine needles on them. As far as the first story goes, I can brush it off. Taking the ladder on the second story part of the house, I get up on the roof and blow the needles away without having to get too close to the edge of the roof because the needles are laying I spent some time blowing them out before the guards were installed and sometimes on one knee carefully cleaning them with my hands before the guards were installed. Now that the guards are in place, I feel a lot safer

Difficult to afford! Do they merit the time and effort? To provide everyone with an idea of how these gutter guards look after installation and to see any problems I encountered, I have included pictures
4/5

Here are some of them One of the most expensive gutter guards on the market, if not the most expensive. Accordingly, when it comes to quality, you expect nothing less than the best. The instructions were very well thought out and included pictures. It was a great job laying out the instructions. Unless you don't have the right tools ( a drill / driver ) and tin snips, installing them is simple. This set has been tested against a tree limb hit and has held up very well. There are however two issues I have with this guard. There are some areas of my gutter guard where the mesh has separated from the frame, but it has not been caused by weather or misuse. The photos show where this is happening ( shown in the photos) and, over time, it will render the gutter guards useless, allowing leaves and debris to accumulate and requiring me to replace them. Having the sections intersect/overlap creates a way for debris to pile up and eventually open up the gap/hole with time. There needs to be an ideal way for the sections to remain joined so there is no space for debris to accumulate. According to the instructions, it's best to overlap the meshes. In view of what you can see, that's not very effective. After about 3 months of installation you can see what it looks like. My overall hope for this investment is that it will be profitable. The mesh is separating from the frame but I will give them a 4 out of 5 for now because of its toughness and high quality. This is a problem I can see.

A non-profit organization Installed in a matter of minutes, but far superior to any other gutter guard type
5/5

I have over 200' of gutters along the perimeter of my property, with a combination of live oak, water oak, and magnolia trees filling the gutters with In the spring, the oak flower, which resembles a flower on a stem, is particularly harmful, as are the water oak leaves, since they get through the small openings in As a matter of fact, the squirrels prefer to run along my gutters and have pushed in most of the low-budget types of guards in the past. The one I like best is the one I tried, so I chose it. Almost everything in my gutters is kept out using these, including roof particles, oak flowers, and water oak leaves. The only thing you need to do after installation is to brush off any debris that accumulates on top of them (you can get a free brush with a mail-in coupon). I found them to be much more durable than the plastic or aluminum mesh ones I've tried in the past. In professional and Consumer Reports reviews, this type of gutter guard consistently comes out on top, both in terms of functionality and Having seen an installation firsthand, I can attest that they live up to the hype. While the cost is a bit higher than $2 per foot, it is a fraction of what a professional installation would cost. Each package has 12 4' sections (actually 47" pieces). It is constructed specifically for the Standard 5" gutter as a stainless steel fine mesh screen sandwiched between two aluminum rails, one of which has a T cross section to bolt nicely to the front lip. I was impressed with the construction quality. There are about 50 self-installing devices included An allen wrench socket and a tap for tapping screws. It is surprising how rigid the sections are, a testament to how well built the mesh is. The installation process depends on how your gutters are attached, if they are attached to a fascia board in a standard fashion, it will be relatively easy, but more challenging if you have to bend up the back of each guard to fit your In order to trim the mesh, it is necessary to use either heavy scissors or tin snips to cut through the rails. In most cases, gutter trimming is only needed at the end of a gutter or on In addition to screws, you will need a drill in order to install them. In order for water to sink into the gutter, the mesh has been formed with small ridges, allowing the mesh to remain There is a small bit of mesh at each end of the design to close up the gap between sections, which is the weakest part since debris can get caught in the overlap. It is difficult for me to install them since they don't seem to fit into any standard It was fairly simple, but bend the mesh as described in the directions, and I took twice as long as I believe I should have. I have noncompliant cable on more than 100' of my installation This gutter system included gutters attached to a 1x2" bumper attached to the fascia board. As a result, I had to bend the back edges of each section close to the back rails so I could attach them As the mesh is extremely strong, it takes a lot of strength to bend it. In this case, it worked, but shows the kind of modifications needed if you are not installing your gutter according to standards. The gutters are supplied with a pamphlet that indicates how to bend them to fit a number of non-standard bends There are several standard installations, including the one described above. For those who find themselves short of the specified length as I did, you can order 3' sections of the same gutter from Home Depot for a comparable price.

This is a five star product because it is durable, effective, As my only critique, I believe it would have been better if the company devised a neater way of joining sections than just hanging the screening over the top.

It is the second gutter guard that I have installed and I would not recommend buying it
3/5

The one I installed a few days ago is this one. The rainstorm that we had about an hour ago was moderate. The rainwater was pouring over the gutter on to the driveway, so I went out to investigate. As there is no way for me to estimate how much water soaked into the screen, but this completely clean screen had no capacity to accommodate even a small amount of water in order to allow the screen to leak and water to pour over it. The screw hole in my gutter per panel was a test, but I was glad there was only one. Having said that, it is no longer necessary to return it It is not worth the money.

It was an outstanding service from Amazon
5/5

My contractor calculated my dimensions and I was a little short. I called Amazon and they had no more and were not confident they would have it in stock. Be prepared to get hammered when you call Gutter glove. My surprise was that I received excellent Customer Service that was neither pushy nor intrusive. My representatives called me back twice after the first visit to see if everything was ok and if they could do anything else for me. I thank you Raptot for making doing business with you such a pleasure. The number of gutters I cover would be better if there were more. You can be sure I will spread the word to anyone I know and even to those I don't know about your product and your truly caring I would give them eleven, but the button only goes up.

The construction is of the highest quality
5/5

My gutters were in desperate need of cleaning, so I was looking for a long-term solution. The last few days have been rainy in the middle of the country It has rained heavily in the atlantic region this year and my gutters have been overflowing. As I was researching gutter guards, I came across an article by "ASKTHEBUILDER" which helped me choose a stainless steel mesh guard. I had a look at the product on Amazon and it had a reasonable rating. Once you get the hang of it, it isn't too difficult to install. had a 4" wide gutter so I slipped these 5" guards under the shingles and they worked fine. To cut the last sections to fit the gutter length, I used a rotary tool (similar to a dremel) with a cutoff wheel. The maintenance intervals will be shortened as a result of this. We'll probably only need to brush the surface of it once a year. I'm crossing my fingers.
