Overall, I guess I missed the main point of this item. As if it were a hardened playdough, the material looks like that. The product will come apart if you nail it up less than 100% (the entire length). I ended up cutting a hole right through it. I nailed the whole thing to the wall using short nails with large heads and held it all up with blue painters tape. It would have been better if the foam strip had been rigid. In spite of this, I have to say the pattern is very cool and is staying ( for now at least). Certainly, some people have used liquid nails, but they can damage walls in the long run.

I like the way it looks

The kit only covered one window, but it was incredibly easy to put up and looks fantastic. Has a rubbery feel to it. A pair of scissors is all you need. Despite tiny white nails, I put up with them.

The purpose of my purchase was to create a more completed look around the tub surround by using this trim. The product was exactly as described, and it was Construction adhesive was used, and caulk was applied once it was installed with a waterproof caulk and it looks fantastic! To trim the shoe, I used a utility knife, and it was fairly simple. It cuts easily with a cut that is thick enough to make cutting difficult, but not so thick that it becomes difficult to clean. My wife and I are very pleased with this product, and we will most likely use it elsewhere in our I give you five.

Your money is worth more than you think

This is an awful product. Is there a crown moulding in it? That's not the case, in my opinion. I think a cheap chair rail would be perfect for you if you enjoy cheap things.
