It is made of a bead There is an excellent fit and a wonderful look to the board. A quality crown is something I would like to see improved if there is one thing I would like to see improved. In the mold. Even though it can be easily damaged, I prefer the look and if you install it properly, it can stay in place and endure the elements in your bathroom or wherever else it may be needed. As a preventative measure, spray oil paint or oil varnish also on the back of the product before installation to aid in preserving it.
