In short, yes. On top of my storm door and even around the sides of my door is the wrap.
The entire thing measures about 2 inches wide. The part that sticks to the door measures 1 inch, and the part that blocks the bottom of the door measures 1 inch.
The device works on the exterior of my house.
Metal is definitely a target for it. My guess is no if you are referring to the screen itself.

It was bought to seal the bottom of a door to a room I use for listening to music and watching TV. There was a half inch gap at the bottom of the door, which is typical when doors need an air return, but since I had an HVAC return vent in the room, I added this weather stripping around the perimeter and added this door seal to the bottom. Despite the sound being blocked from escaping, the other rooms were still able to hear us. During the application of the seal, part of it was on carpet and I had to be very careful not to rub it too much. There is no doubt about the strength of the adhesive. The company provided me with great customer service with regard to some questions I had, they were able to resolve all my concerns regarding the transaction.
My doors buckle every time I close them. The bottom one buckles as if it weren't sticking - very frustrating. I bought 6 of them and if I could return them all, I would.
The material is very durable and sturdy. It was impossible for me to keep my screen door on my slider closed. For the top trim of the door frame, I applied this to give it a bit of length to help hold the door in place, and it worked like a charm.
I cleaned the old door with alcohol before installing the new product and heated the product with a hairdryer as directed. However, there were issues. After tacking it down with the included tacks, the gap still remained.

My office and I are cigar smokers. I can smoke a cigar and someone standing outside the door will not be able to smell it, even after a couple of hours. My window fan is running, so I know it is creating negative pressure like it wouldn't if I was just using a towel under the door. But the fan is also working when the door is closed, so it is providing negative pressure as well. Despite the fact that I couldn't say that it provided any relief in the first place, I rated it a 5 primarily for the fact that noise wasn't an issue in the first place. It makes sense that noise cancellation of this product would be fantastic due to the tight seal. The product was good, and the price was very reasonable.
The door leading to my garage needed something. It is awesome how high quality this product is for the price. It looks like rubber, but it is actually thick. I followed the directions, and it was easy to install. Firstly, measure the door, clean it, and then stick it. In the past, I used to be able to feel the draft when I put my hand up to the door, but I can no longer do so.
The main door blew a strong draft into the room. I immediately felt a difference when I placed the product on the door. Despite the fact that it is strong, the adhesive holds! We were impressed and satisfied with the service.
