My door frames are flexible enough to bend and become cut to size, or pushed into the door frame with no issues. I am not sure where they are made, but mine worked great. Although it was delivered slightly bent so that the packaging had a kink, everything was delivered intact. I found working around it to be not too frustrating.

Here is some information for other potential The seals you are about to install will likely be much stiffer than the ones that came with your door. This was the reason why they couldn't be used. Although they installed easily, were a little longer than necessary (which meant I had to cut off the extra) but were so stiff compared to the originals that the doors could not be closed. In other words, they did not give anything. When the door hit the solid barrier, it was like it had been forced off track. You will be fine if you have a previous understanding of what the product is capable of, but good luck if you don't.
In the Amazon system, they literally bend them and pack them in boxes. There are varying degrees of success. One of the ordered 6 and 5 were completely broken and useless, but both orders 6 and 5 were still usable despite the bends. Apart from that, I think it's a good product for sealing doors. When I close the door, I had to push it in a little more than I usually do, but I can tell that the seal does what it's supposed to do. These are stored bent and shipped bent, but if that doesn't bother you, then you can buy them. The height of these doors makes them suitable for taller openings.
I had a big gap between the door and the wall and that one inch filled it pretty well. My door is old so it has a lot of wear and tear. The stiffness is perfect for my purposes since this is a product that I use everyday. If you wish to cover the entire door frame, you may need to purchase two or three pieces.
