A tough nut to crack The sticker I thought would come off easily and I was going to buy a metal replacement, but it doesn't seem to be coming off at all. There will be no more drafts This is a very tight fitting outfit. As a replacement for the rubber on the metal threshold plate, I bought it from Home Depot. This needs to be a clean, smooth surface, as well as one that can be easily trimmed. To make this work, I suggest you cut too long and then trim it up in small increments until it I started the peel process before attaching to make it easier, then attach the first side precisely where I needed, followed by the other side. The middle can squeeze a little further or closer apart, so I prepped and set it exactly as I needed it.
I'm not as excited about this as I thought I would be. As you install it, it comes rolled up, which makes it difficult to keep straight. It complies with the requirements and i would buy it again. Thanks for the product. Only if it came in other colors would I be more interested. It would be nice to have a black or a dark brown.
I was not able to keep my weight As a matter of fact, I cleaned the floor with alcohol first. It came up or peeled up immediately. It is an awful product and I would not buy it.
It was necessary to use sheet metal screws instead of tape because the tape would I use this in conjunction with a door sweep to ensure a snug seal on Take full advantage of this design by making sure that your door has a concave groove at the bottom.
The search for something that would stop too much air coming into the house under the front door continued for some time. This item works just fine. Aside from being adjustable, it is also lightweight. As well as the price, it's good.
I removed the cover tape and it was stuck to the sticky side. I have no doubt the seal will continue to stick. Time will tell if it does. It is not mentioned whether or not the red tape has to be removed carefully in the instructions. It would be very easy to install the tape if it came off like it was advertised.
This seal works great and can be adapted to fit an opening with a crooked shape Although it made from cheap materials, it did the job well for me.
I find it to be satisfactory for my current needs. Tapes with double stick adhesive will work well but can be a little difficult to peel off.
