Is there anything unique about the top of your foot?

It should be flat and smooth, so you can attach the leg to the level on the furniture.

What about the depth? Is it 6" as well?

There are six inches in length. Top to bottom, it appears to be straight and flat.

However, I had to purchase an additional pair of feet as the width of the foot was a bit too narrow for the purpose I wanted to use it It was easy to cleat them together with no problems and attach them to a table leg for support. It was great to have them.
