I was worried they'd look cheesy, but they turned out beautifully and give my porch a vintage feel.
This is a fantastically easy fix!.
It is simple to use. In one afternoon, I completed my dining room on my own. My starting line was drawn on the leading edges of the room by a drywaller. When I took them out of the box, a few were cracked, but this was not noticeable once they were installed. I wish there was a link to the matching crown molding.
I'm not pleased at all. They didn't appear to be anything like the picture at first. The color was off, and the application wasn't as detailed as it could have been. But, more importantly, I ordered eight of these and they were stacked one on top of the other before the finish had dried and cured. As a result, I couldn't separate them without tearing them when I opened the box. So I printed a return ticket and mailed it back using Amazon. My money was returned to me by Amazon. However, they deducted the amount from my account again just over a month later, claiming they hadn't received them. I had to call Amazon to get everything straightened out. Amazon has been extremely helpful, but it is not worth the trouble.
In my office, I have a lovely cover for the attic access.
I ordered this flower tile because of the patina, and it arrived quickly and well packaged. The tile, on the other hand, had a really bad paint job. I'm getting a new one in exchange for it. It could have been a coincidence. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I have lower ceilings, but I don't think it would have mattered if the first tile had a flaw if your ceiling was high enough. Regardless, it's a work of art.
While the tile is lovely, it is a gray/cement color with rustic undertones. I wish it had been white like in the picture. It's a good thing I only ordered one to try out. It might work if I spray painted it and distressed it, but I'm going back.
It wasn't a deal breaker for us because the flaws were hidden. br>I had no idea they'd be so opulent and ominous. Unless the ceiling is very high, I wouldn't use it for the entire ceiling. Over 10' without a doubt. Your decor must also be in keeping with your theme. My usage, I believe, is pushing it to its limits. br>I gave installation a 5 out of 10 because it's difficult to cut through the ornate design evenly when trimming. br>These are lovely in the right setting!.
