I do not recall their precise dimensions, but they were about 3/4" to 1" by 2 1/2 to 3 inches. My favorite thing about them is the step wedge shape that allows them to be stacked. The best buy you can make.
Since I have installed both types of flooring, I would not recommend using this technique on standard oak flooring. There are two types of floors, and each one is installed differently. I use it for laminate flooring though, and it works great.
In my memory, it had a size of about 1" x 2", and a thickness of about 1/8 to 3/16", possibly even thicker. In a paired configuration, the thickness degrees are graduated in a stepped fashion, so the pair holds its position well.

I have a sore back as a result of poor planning. My previous method of removing the old floor was using a piece of floor and a dead blow hammer. Since the scrap piece would either break or slide under the plank, getting the pieces snug took a very long time. The last room I was finishing took half the time as it did with the previous method when I received this kit.
The hammer is made with a soft compound and a harder compound. Soft edges don't leave marks and allow you to tap the seams flush, while the harder sides give you a firm tap on blocks or wall bars. As it would jump off of the plank if I used the tapping block with the intended side, I found that it didn't fit well with my This can sometimes result in the wear layer chipping. I flipped the block around to the plain flat side and it worked perfectly. As they are designed with face ridges, more than one of them will lock together. Certain types of walls are prone to slipping when hard plastic is used. Using the wall edge bar to lock those planks against the wall into place is a great idea. The planks are protected by bumpers so they do not scratch the floor, although they may still hit the ground on thinner planks. There may be a way to move the bumpers, but I did not bother to do so. It was easy for the spacers to deform and became junk. I've managed to make something that is much stronger by 3d printing it. Installation was made easy with the rest of the tools. I found using a crowbar to put the end pieces in place to be extremely easy. You may have some problems with the crowbar if you hammer on it too hard, so make sure you don't hammer on it too hard to avoid deforming it.
It has saved me from putting in laminate floors in the future, and honestly, I don't think I would have been able to do it without it. Despite the price, the tools are of good quality, and we haven’t had any trouble with the mallet coming apart like some reviewers said. We are almost done with this project, so we are very pleased with our decision to go.
This kit includes everything you need to lay vinyl flooring or floating floors. This product seems to be good quality, and the price is reasonable. The tap block is the one thing I dislike, as it damaged the edge of my flooring. Instead, I used a small piece of flooring to secure the pieces together. I think it's a great product in general.
