Glass that has been etched is embedded with the design Does it have to be one piece of glass instead of 10 pieces, or does it have to be two?

It is made up of one single pane of beveled glass with an etching in the glass to give the illusion of grilles.

If the bottom of the door can be trimmed, how much can be done?

As this door is solid wood, you can cut off as much as you need. However, I wouldn't cut it off more than the width of the top because it will look strange Over the glass on the top, there is four inches of wood, and on the bottom there are seven. There is 5" of glass below the top. My personal recommendation is to not cut off more than three. It is 5".

These doors could be installed as a French door that opens at the center instead of bifolding like a bifold?

The hardware is not included in our package, but you can install it that way. The warranty is not valid if the product is installed differently.

Does this door have the ability to dampen or block sound adequately so that it could be used as a home office door?

It was for that purpose that I used it. As a matter of fact, glass does a better job of blocking sound than hollow doors.

I can see why the pictures don't do these doors justice. I feel as though I am looking at It is etched and indented to separate the panes and to catch the light as if it were I was surprised at the quality of the real glass. After applying clear lacquer, which was sanded back to give a natural look, I finished the wood with no knots and a coat of clear lacquer that was applied to the wood before sanding back again. It is great to have bifolds like this. I would like to point out that This top has the same finish and moulding on both sides, so it can be used throughout a room as a divider.

AWESOME. I cannot believe the quality of this door. As my home office is only 8 x 8, a standard door takes up way too much wall space in the tiny space. This was made worse by the way the door was hung, it opened into the middle of the room instead of against the corner wall, which, in my humble opinion, was a bit dumb. My guess is that someone at the top was responsible for that operation. In order to preserve the integrity of the house I took the door completely off when I purchased it. In any case, it was nothing more than an ugly hollow core. In any case, I've been wanting a door back on my office for quite some time. I've become even more concerned since Covid hit and I've had to use the room more to The look of french doors is very attractive to me and I had saved a few 15 lite glass slabs to my wish list, but I never bought one since I knew it would require retooling the door frame in the opposite direction and I wasn't sure how to do it.

Now that this year is over, I have started looking at other options and have found glass bifold doors to be the best. In spite of the fact that there are only a few such books on the internet, this one caught my attention because A) lets be honest, the price is better than most. As well as B) I like the way the glass is etched to give the appearance of french doors, but without having to paint (and dust) wood pieces, and without the hassle of having to clean individual glass panels. I love it. Yet you see how important it is to install It was important to have an easy way to wipe down the door! My nerves were frayed when I ordered a door online. What if it wasn't the right size? If it falls apart on its way here, what would happen? Would I be able to return the item if it turned out not to be as nice as it looked on the web? You're welcome to return items for free, but how annoying! There is no way I can get to this in my car, so I would have to schedule a pick-up! In the end, it's all about promoting peace. I love the door even though it is beautiful. However, it is still a bi-partisan issue This is the first time I have seen a fold-down door, so I was afraid it would look like a closet, pantry, or laundry of those fears were wiped away as soon as the door opened! It was perfect in every way. The box was packaged very well in thick foam. didn't have to worry about anything! It is so thoughtful of the manufacturer to fully cover the glass in plastic before shipping the door so you can stain or paint it right away without having to tape it or do anything before. There is a lot of weight on the door. A heavy door has never been on my property before. There is solid wood and glass in the desk. The idea of hanging it from two pegs and a wheel made me a little nervous. I love it. However, so far everything has gone well. This banner has been up for more than a month and has not I had fun with that. The door frame was an inch taller than the door and I didn't have a threshold or anything to fit it so I added a length of 1"x2" board to the top of the frame and the door now fits snugly. You can barely identify the difference. I have no complaints about this door. I think it's awesome and I would highly recommend it. Don't let this opportunity pass you by! Hopefully I will be able to post pictures as soon as I finish painting and remove the plastic!.
