It is not necessary to pull out an old battery after you remove the cover from the hd900d because all its wires are covered.
First, cut an 8" by 8" piece of duct tape and stick the ends together. Remove the old battery, then stick to the new one.
There is an understanding that it is a replacement for the chamberlain and craftsman garage door opener diehards
There is a craftsman Model 139 in my possession. This garage door opener works with the 53918d cylinder. Batteries with the Sears replacement part number 41B822 are available with the retailer. What is the chamberlain 4228's compatibility with this model?
On January 13, 2021, I bought two batteries, and now I need to replace them because they are failing and not working properly. I'd like to know as soon as possible. Thanks a lot

There is no indication in the description that a generic brand was to be used instead of the OEM. This product is completely false as it shows a Chamberlain battery photo but at no point does it mention that a generic brand is to be used instead. As a result of not knowing the product is a generic brand, I would not have bought it, and believe that the product description as well as the picture used is highly misleading. Getting a refund is important to me, since I do not want to take the chance of the cheap batteries catching fire or not lasting as long as the OEM brand. I already filed a dispute with Amazon.
Chamberlain batteries are not genuine. This is a knockoff brand with a negative terminal that does not fit the other. This item is a different model number, a different brand, and it differs from the examples pictured here.
I agree with you. A photo of a battery does not indicate OEM batteries. You should also not expect the replacement battery to be plugged in and run. The battery box had to be cut to fit both battery packs, and I had to cut wires, put connectors on, and use my Dremel grinder tool. The batteries in my backup battery box are two that were bought about 10 years ago, and one set of batteries finally failed, so I bought these to replace them (I bought 2 Chamberlain HD800D openers). The second opener does not ring anymore after ten years, which is why the batteries need to be replaced. The OEM batteries will be my choice next time.
A custom battery (4228) was sent instead of an OEM battery. There are also no Chamberlain stickers on it, so it is not endorsed by Chamberlain. The battery that was provided (Neptune Power NT1250) is not defective, but it is not the battery or the part number that is specified in the In the event that you need a OEM battery, you need to After I contacted the seller, I was assured that the information I provided above was acknowledged. This resulted in a lower rating for me. There seems to be a deception here.
In April, the OEM installed a replacement battery after the original went bad after about a year (the date of manufacture on the battery was January). About two months after this "new" battery was installed, the warning tone started up again. After one month, I do not see anything I can do about the warranty or return through Amazon (but I will reach out to the seller for help). A sealed lead acid battery shouldn't lose power in 3 months (can you imagine having to replace your car battery every 3 months). I'm not sure if it went bad because of a problem with the Lift Master opener or the battery, but I don't want to keep buying batteries to figure When the opener senses the battery has gone bad and starts "chirping," it does not seem as though there is anything that can be done, but maybe it does not recharge the battery when it runs out?.
As a repeat buyer, I had placed the same order 2 years ago and received a genuine Chamberlain battery during the previous order. Yet again, it was Neptune Power Products - but this time it was a different brand. Since the product was advertised with a battery from Chamberlain, its statement is very misleading.
The Chamberlain battery pictured in their listing is NOT this battery. Located on the back of the battery, it can be snapped into place The positive terminal of a garage door opener can be fitted with an adapter. Although I do not know how long this will last, I appreciate the fact that I will not be I would recommend that if you are willing to go with a generic, save yourself another ten dollars. Don't buy from this vendor. Get a discount of 20% if you buy from an honest vendor.
Despite my age, I was able to install this product easily. I am a 65 year old female, and I just replaced the back up Battery for my Chamberlain garage door opener. In the last few days, my garage door opener started beeping due to a worn battery. It was installed over 5 years Actually, it hasn't been many years since I have encountered a power outage and I had no idea my garage door opener even had a battery backup. As you can see in the following picture, I used the battery location and owner's manual to determine the problem. It only took me a few minutes to remove the right side light cover, remove the one screw on the battery box, take out the old battery, and then slide the two connectors onto the new one. After you install the new battery, you have to wait for the LED light on the other side of the battery to flash green as an indication that the battery system is functioning before you finish. A piece of cake! To use my ladder and replace the battery, I just needed my ladder and the right A tight fit for the battery box makes it a perfect fit for the battery. You may find that a cross matched battery by another manufacturer doesn't fit into the space if you elect to purchase it. From my owner's manual, I knew the exact model/part number, and Amazon directed me to this OME Chamberlain battery right away. As for mine, the box has a stamp to indicate the date of manufacture, which As a matter of fact, my original battery lasted for over 5 years, and I assume it would last 3 to 5 years on average. Thanks to Amazon for helping me find this!.
