Do you know of another model with stronger ?

There are only door holders with 25 pounds of force from this manufacturer. Its hold force is the same for every model it produces. Here's some information I hope is helpful.

Does the coil require both 24 volts direct current and 120 volts direct current Could Simplex mag coils be replaced with compatible ?

Neither 120 vac nor 24 vdc is dual voltage, but only one of them has to be used at one time

Is this system capable of releasing the door (opening) directly when connected directly to my hardwired smoke detector?

Through a fire panel, ours are hardwired to the fire detectors. Whether or not they work with one detector I am not certain, but an electrician should be able to tell you for sure. Please accept my apologies that I am unable to help further

What kind of noise does it make when it is operating?

It is a magnet, so there is no sound.
