I ordered this dark mahogany door with 2 x 11" sidelights in a standard design with great trepidation. I used lighter colored stone all around as an accent. And, by golly, does it make a statement! This door gives the front entrance of my modest home a grand aesthetic look! The benefits are: br>br>
1. The door slammed shut behind me in a hurry-- br>all the way from Los Angelesbr>br>br>br>br>br The people on the other end of the line were easy to reach, and John (I believe he is the owner) was extremely accommodating. br>3. The containers were designed to withstand a nuclear blast. So, no, the door had no dings or dents (not that fiberglass would ding or dent!). )
4. The door has a solid feel to it and closes with a 'thuck,' but it swings easily on its metal hinges. br>Minor drawbacks:
1. There aren't any that come to mind, but there is one minor nit-picking point. Choose the location where the dead are buried. When the bolt is locked into the frame, it has rounded edges that are impossible to find a metal piece for. This isn't a big deal, and I don't bother with the metal plate when I use the dead bolt. As a result, no stars have been removed. br>br>Would recommend this door to anyone (just don't put a storm door on top of it because it will ruin the look!).
They went above and beyond to find the door I needed and load it onto their truck as soon as possible. It only took 5 days for the door to arrive! I'm at a loss for words to express my gratitude and admiration for the staff at HB_Hardware. Not only did they provide excellent service, but the door itself is stunning!.
It was first placed in a wooden crate before being encased in a steel grate. This fiberglass door is of exceptionally high quality. It has a fantastic appearance. It's well worth the money. We looked for a few months, almost every day, and found that everything was overpriced and would take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive. I ordered it right away when I saw it was in stock on Amazon because it was exactly what we needed. I'm ecstatic that we were able to do so. It's up and running, and it looks great. It opens and closes smoothly. The door handle and deadlock were the only things that needed to be added. If you're looking for an elegant entry door, I highly recommend this one.
