Questions & Answers
That's an excellent query. You should be aware that the stakes that go into the ground are included in the dimension, and that this applies to all of Amazon's fences, as far as I'm aware. I'm attempting to recall what happened. They were 32 inches tall, plus 8 inches for stakes, for a total height of 24 inches above ground. I'm too preoccupied with other matters to conduct some research, but the stakes are high. jimsam
Keep in mind that the height is 8 inches, with a 4 inch wire sticking out of the ground. To keep the fence straight, I used 2x4 stakes to connect the panels and 1x2x96 boards lengthwise. They serve a decorative purpose rather than a practical one. It's likely that you'll want to go even higher; Just keep in mind that the height includes the ground wires. They are appealing to me. They're not made of wood, though; they're made of a molded material. You'll be fine if you use stakes and long boards to support them, as well as a string to create a straight line. br>It was a micro-event for us. My tree split, fell, and crushed mine when it burst, so I'll replace it with something similar. jimsam
Yes, the lights are supposed to be included. They did, however, cease to function after approximately two weeks. When there is a lot of wind, the fence doesn't stay up. Even though I tied them together, they continued to fall down. I had to discard all three sets.
The fence has a plastic finish that will most likely chip. Apply several layers of paint. Prior to applying the top coats, apply a primer. Rustoleum spray primer and paint, I believe, would be suitable.

I needed something to keep my puppy from going under my bed, and these seem to work fine; however, when I read the answers to the questions that have been posted, many of them are incorrect. Is it true that people who haven't purchased these are answering? Why? To clear up any confusion, I'll respond to some of the questions I've seen.
1. Yes, the stakes are attached to the back of the lattice panels and can be used without them to form a circle around an inside tree or something similar. It's a little awkward to push into the bottom slots, but they're not required. I'm using them backwards, so the stakes are against the mattress for support. However, you are under no obligation to cut them off.
2. Is it possible to make a square out of these? Yes, and on the included instructions, which I've attached, there's a picture of a square. I didn't bother trying to make it a perfect square because I didn't need it, but it's possible. A square will be formed using the stakes. Please disregard the person who responded that it can only travel in a straight line; the box states, "Fence can be curved to fit the contour of any path. " "
3. Are they white? Yes, I bought two boxes, and they're all white. Is it possible that someone accidentally got gray ones? Of course, the box makes no mention of the fact that there are multiple colors to choose from. If you receive the incorrect ones, notify Amazon and request that they be replaced. The swap should be free of charge in terms of shipping.
4. Is the fence a foot or a foot and a half tall or a foot and a half tall This is slightly deceptive. The panels are 8 1/2 inches tall without stakes, and 12 inches tall with stakes in place, according to the front of the box. I'm not sure why they did that, because I doubt anyone would use the stakes above ground, so the 8 1/2 inch measurement is the only one that matters. br>br>The only reason I gave them four stars rather than five is because they don't lock in place. After you've slid the pieces together, they'll be able to freely move up and down. This may not be a problem once the stakes are driven into the ground. Duct tape can also be used to repair them, but it's a shame they weren't designed to lock.
Flimspy. I was hoping to use this product as a skirt around the bottom of my 12-foot long She shed. 15" off the ground is a good starting point. There's no way to attach it because the back side is hollow. I wouldn't recommend buying this product unless you're going to use it on a curved surface. It's possible that it will only last a season. Others were selling the lattice fence for half the price that I paid, but it was out of stock. I'm returning all six sets and ordering custom-cut lattice from my local garden store, as well as the optional trim pieces that were purchased separately. This method is 33% of the price of this product that I paid for it.
The picture works just as well as the interlocking panels. We have a small poodle who is blind due to Progressive Retina Atrophy, and this fence is ideal for keeping her out of areas in our yard where she might be injured.
They're simple to connect and don't fall apart as you walk away. My bird feeders were surrounded by eight panels. I connected them all in a straight line, then joined the ends to form the circle around the feeder. I gently pushed the stakes partially into the ground, beginning on opposite sides. Then I simply circled the circle again and again. I pushed them all the way down when I got the shape I wanted. The ground was soft due to a lot of rain. If the ground is dry, dig the hole with a spade first, or the stakes will be broken.
It meets my requirements perfectly. I did link them together and use the spikes, but I double-checked with some flower wire wrapped in paper to ensure it was VERY tight. I already had a wood lattice under my porch, but the earth began to sink after many years, and one of the seven dogs I'd had for a year discovered a way to go under and refused to come out. This was enough to keep her OUT of the house for the time being. I tucked the plastic lattice behind the wooden lattice and secured it to the ground with wire. The issue has been resolved!.
Because of the mixed reviews, I only ordered one set to try it out. It was easy to put together and looks great, much better than what we had before. We'll place enough orders to complete the project. It was simple to put together, and the pieces fit together well. Despite the fact that we had strong winds this evening, it is still upright and in place.
br>The fence sections do not adhere to each other well. Because the fence is too clumsy to be used as intended, I'm using the lights separately. I'm sure I'll find a use for it, but it won't be the one I had in mind. I won't buy anything else in my yard, unless it's in small, separate areas.
The stakes will not fit through the lattices' holes. I bought four boxes, but none of the stakes fit. I used plyers and a sturdy large screwdriver to widen the holes because the latticework was fine but I needed a border. The stakes gradually increased after I pushed myself as hard as I could. It was an excruciatingly painful experience.
